We get excellent support from the New Zealand agent, Karl Bull (no relation), but I was expecting it to be a bit easier in Europe. I should have new part on Monday, then I'll try to take the old one apart, which is what I was really looking for help with.

Water can get into the charging socket on the bike because the cover doesn't seat properly, and that can cause problems. I try to remember to dry mine properly, or if i'm doing a super clean I take the battery out
