Evelo Omega - 200 Mile Review

Never had one so I do not know. I test rode on and stuck with Kinkekt. It was not to my liking, too bouncy, difficult to adjust the ride by changing elastomers also that hardness varied too much due to temperature

Evelo Omega - 200 Mile Review

try reading the whole thread as many questions are asked and answered, such as this one on page 2 "For your wife, you might consider their Galaxy 500, same maintenance free drive train with carbon belt and auto shifting with a bit less power and considerably lighter weight. This is a bike...

    Priority Current versus Evelo Omega?

Keep the belt drive and loose 9 lbs. Evelo's Galaxy 500 might be a better choice for your wife. Not quite as much power but weighs nine lbs. less, still has the belt and the Automaiq Enviolo. Likely to be a better size and weight for your wife.

    Best ebike for Seniors Citizens

Impossible question to answer intelligently. Some are fit, others not so much. Some live in Florida, others in Colorado. Some have health compromises, others are not there yet with all their bits and pieces still functioning. To get an intelligent answer you need to specify: Age Fitness...

Turbo Creo SL Comp carbon EVO vs Canyon Grail:ON CF 7 (this or that?)

I have the Cannondale Topstone Neo Carbon 3 and did a 48 mile 5,000 mountain route with a good buddy a while back. The Cannondale has 47mm WTB Tires, tubeless, Bosch gen 4 speed motor with 500 watt battery (plus a fully rigged spare with cover). My friend rode his Creo Expert and frankly, I...

    Thudbuster vs Kinekt seat posts

I noticed that your preload setting looks to be around 2. Given your weight I would think a preload closer to 3 or even 3.5 would reduce or even eliminate that higher cadence bob. As far as securing your investment, I use Helox bolt inserts on my seat post, seat clamp, stem at both the steerer...

Has anyone gone from an e-bike with throttle to one without?

Where did you determine that that Evelo is using the shorter speced CVT rather than the one that matches their motor choice spec? I confirmed that, on the Omega, they are use the Sportive model which handles up to 120 Nm continuous torque. My assumption would be that they are using the same...

Looking for a ebike that fits my need

I have the Omega without a front fork. The suspensions stem worked pretty well be bottomed out even using the stiffest spring. I have had a Baramind suspension handlebar from France for two years on a rigid fork Trek Allant and it is almost as compliant as a front fork, especially regarding...

    Atlas first impressions

The hub is made by Enviolo, There is nothing particular to and Enviolo installed on a Evelo bike. Enviolo has dozens of very good how-to videos on their products. If they are not quite up to snuff on their videos on a bike just released two months ago, one can still do a basic search on...

    Enviolo Automatiq cadence settings

If you can mount your phone on the handelbar close to the right grip, the phone app certainly works well. However when the app is on and the bike is moving, the phone screen remains on which will run the battery down faster. I have an auxiliary rechargeable headlight that also serves as a...

    Enviolo Automatiq cadence settings

If you have or can get the Enviolo CO remote controller, When in autiomatic mode, a quick press of the top button changes the selected cadence either up 5 rpm or down (I forget which) while pressing the bottom button changes your selected cadence in the opposite direction. When in manual mode...
