    Jerry, I re read your post- I removed the screws from the cassette, non power side, when I observed that the internals would likely come all the way out. I think you need to go in from the cassette side.

    Small item- 2019 model- the current manual says to toggle the headlight and display light on and off, press and old the + speed for two seconds. The lights are always on, toggle off doesn't happen. Is this the way it is?

    Update, January 2016. Battery replaced under warranty- probably good except for an internal loose wire. Still like the bike a lot, use it a lot, though not in electric mode all that much, need the exercise!
