I have found with chain replacements the chainring also needs to be changed. I have reversed the used chainring in the past and has worked well.

There is a spacer in the front fender. No changes are required for the wheels to fit. They work out slightly smaller size than the 29' OEM wheels and tyres so fit under fenders well and there was no need to change settings for wheel size.

Yes they are 650 wheels. They are a straight swap with no adjustments required on the cassette etc.

Thought i will show you all my wifes bike set up. These 2.8 tubless tyers can run at low psi 15-20 so a heap of grip on gravel. As you can see they have plenty of clearance if you want to have the fenders on. My wife runs this setup on all surfaces.🙂

I got my bike to comute to work mainly now has done over 14k km. We have a lot of rail trail rides here in NZ so swap the wheels for these weekend rides. They are gentle offroad rides. If mountain biking is your thing then levo is certainly best for that🙂

My wife and I have had many happy rides off road with the Vados. We have gone the larger tubless tyre (2.8) way with 650 rims for gravel rides. No punctures yet. The bike feels so different and nimble with this setup, im always dissapointed to change my bike back to the standard commuter setup.

Yes the bottom half of the cover can be removed without removing the cranks exposing all the the rear light connecter. The cranks do not have to be removed.

You can remove the rear fender by removing the engine plastic cover (4 screws) then unplug the rear light cable. Its easy to do i used to do it when planning off road rides.

I agree. I have also checked my temp after a longer ride and its around 50deg. I remeber someone on here having motor issues with a temp over 100deg!

I purchased a second battery (604wh) through my lbs for my Vado. No issues with swapping the batteries you would hope the battery would arrive with the latest software installed. The mission control app will tell you what version software you have. The plastic battery cover has to be ordered...

Its easy to do yourself if you get a bleed kit. It should take 15-20 minutes by a bike shop plus fluid.

You have lost some brake fluid and need to bleed the brakes and add more brake fluid. You will need a bleed cup etc to do this or just take it to your lbs.

Yes added a mirror on my 2017 Vado, woulded cycle without one in the city. Added clipless pedals - so much better in the wet. Added a suspension seat post. With my tools and pump - they go in my rack bag of which clips in with the racktime system. I also have a larger saddle bag for the shopping...
