PAS 1 is still utilizing the functions of an ebike. I ride in PAS 1 often also. I just don't understand why people would turn the battery off and ride it. These are twice the weight. I would just buy a regular bike for much less money. PAS 1 does compensate for most of the additional weight...

Please don't take this the wrong way, but why would anybody purchase an ebike and ride it mostly unpowered?

I installed the TRP caliper on the rear wheel of my Radrover about 3 weeks ago. Put about 100 miles on it since. I really can't tell any difference between stock caliper and TRP. Thinking about trying some compression less cables. Maybe that will make a difference

mrgold35, I too have problems with the PAS skipping up two levels or not changing at all. I agree with either limiting the change to one step at a time or adding an audible beep for each change. This will allow us to change levels without having to look at the display. One beep for level one...

I ride the same way as you Rakku. Most of the videos I see are of bike commuters. They put the bike in the highest gear, set the assist to level 3 or 4 and use the throttle from standing start. I guess they are just looking for the highest sustainable speed for the quickest travel time.

Just curious. Do you RadPower Bike users change gears and power assist levels during a ride? I find myself changing both many times depending on wind, terrain, my energy level and comfort. The videos I see on youtube seem to show that people put the bike in 7th gear and choose a power assist...

Understood, price would be nowhere close to $1499.00 though. $2499 maybe and that puts the rad in the middle of some pretty stiff competition

Wow mrgold35. Looks to me like you bought the wrong bike. Only things I can think of is a clock on display as mentioned above and an audible beep as you change power assist levels. This would let you change assist levels without looking down at the display. One beep for level one.....two beeps...

This bike does seem to be a good deal for the current price Blueflash. I was looking at the much cheaper Rad Rover but have to say this is in a different class. I hope to put some more miles on it this weekend.
