Switching from conventional bikes to e-bikes is not beneficial.

HarryS: I am further north in Quebec Canada. I been cycling for several years now in the winter with a regular bike. This year is my first with The Baron. Here are a few pictures from last years winter in my city of Montreal: (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) All are when it is snowing...

    The 1000 KM update

oh, Didn't notice there was a screw on the stand itself other than the joint. I checked the screw it is tight. Yes I am talking about the 2 screws. I had to changed both of them to longer screws and added lock nuts as well to secure them, so far no issues.

    The 1000 KM update

I also agree it should have been covered under warranty, Benoit disagrees and offered 50% of the replacement. On the original rack I was only using the trunk bag, my panniers would not fit on the bars to clip in: Also took a picture of my bag with all items, and as you see the scale says...

    The 1000 KM update

Ah Yes, completely forgot about the kick stand screws. Both screws havelock nuts on them. Unfortunately the screws are not long enough and the lock nut only screws in 1/2 to the screw. When i did notice the kick stand, both lock nuts were missing and the screws were almost out of there sockets...

Sept 6th Received the call confirming The Red Baron is ready for pick up. To eager to wait for after work, on my lunch break went to Teo HQ. 4 pm hits I head home, once there , I eagerly put The Red Baron together. Took him for a test ride, nothing wrong except for the front disk rotor which...

    Hello from Montreal, Canada

Well here is my next update on my latest upgraded. I am loving how it is turning out. The best thing about all our upgrades is it also makes all our bikes unique to their riders. Also I am now almost at 550 km in exactly 2 weeks of commuting. There are a few more pieces...

    Bofang C965 Display Error code

Thank you Denis. I was also able to do some searches on my lunch and found the user manual which also states a communication issue. As per the info I read, 90% of the time it is the display itself. Seeing i am going on Monday to Benoit for my broken rack I will also bring "The Red Baren" as this...

    Bofang C965 Display Error code

Something weird started happening on my evening commute home. Every so often about 5-8 minute intervals The bike would lose all power. The display shows the following: Under the speed - 30 h The break symbol indicator is on. The engine also comes on. To fix it I either wait around 30 seconds or...

    Hello from Montreal, Canada

Thanks for the tip. But unfortunately my panniers are Louise Garneau's. The clips are made for Mec Panniers: "These replacement pannier clips work with older MEC panniers and most Serratus® panniers as well." I can't use them.

    Hello from Montreal, Canada

Glad to be part of the mtl family. Well as I mentioned earlier my rear rack does not fit with the fenders I have I need the bottem extender bar to be 2 mor inches to clear the fender. I did complete the first upgrades to The Red Baron: The only thing I am upset about is the rear fender...

    Hello from Montreal, Canada

The tail bag is fine I have no issues there. The problem with the TEO rack is the bars are too thick and my Garneau Panniers to clip in, doesn't fit around them. Not a fan on the 2 in 1 bag with panniers, I lost my clothes due to them tearing off the bag on 2 different rides.

    Hello from Montreal, Canada

Well good news and bad news. Good news The rear rack came in yesterday. 1 day shipping bad news Tried to instal the rack, it does not fit. With the rear fender in place, the bottom bracket is not long enough, needed 2 inches more. Either I take out the fender or find a way to make it fit with...

    Chain rub

Look at the seat stay, the tire is literally ml from touching. That tire looks like either more likely 4.5 or 4.8 possibly. 4.5 or higher seems to be too big for that frame.

    Chain rub

I just did my first 25 km each way commute. Also checked the chain for any tire shavings, nothing. No dmg, scratches on the side wall. I am running 25 psi in the rear. Could be like Denis mentions, are you running low PSI? Low PSI give the tire a wider foot print.

The lights I have had since last year, 1 for each of the other bikes. 1 will be going back to the green machine, the other shared. I am planning on...
