Ken, we've had no issues at all with chain lube slinging onto the disk rotor. We only use Motul C2 lube, which is a very tacky lube which will never sling off the chain. Likely we'll be testing other moto chain lubes for compatibility, to broaden our recommendations there.

Nope the motor is fully enclosed, everything in the XD mid motor assembly is designed for wash-down, waterproofing and no issues with water, mud, snow, etc. Rear sprocket is standard 6-bolt #219, 70 teeth. Front sprocket is proprietary alloy steel 219.

Right, in some places there is no law against throttles for assist control. Power/speed could be limited to suit. For places with no-throttle laws, they would need to wait for the PAS system.
