    Downhill both ways... :)

Denis, Yes, please do contact me when you are coming out this way. We can have lunch at Goat On The Roof. They have a good restaurant. I promise not to bug you about having too much stuff on your bike. :) (fingers crossed)

Some pics of my Téo. Went for a 70 km ride today. A blast! Soooo happy with my purchase. Love it.

No color tv though... :) Oooops! Showing my age. All tvs are color these days!

Denis, Aren't you taking an awful chance by not having a laptop computer on there somewhere? What if you need to check your email? :)

    Shifting Gears with Pedal Assist

I just ease up on the pedals as I shift even going up hills. I shift before the load gets high and the pedal cadence slows down, so I'm always shifting with low load and with pedals turning fairly fast. Shift before you have to. I've never had a problem. I suspect the derailleur is out of...

Téo Impressions after a few rides

    >Gear shifting with pedal-assist activated. >According to the manual, you're not supposed to do it. >I didn't realize this and broke my chain on my first ride. >Still a bit unclear as to how I should be handling this, >as I discussed in another thread on this forum. This is the first I have...

    Facebook Teo Owners Group?

The good thing about the EBR forum is that it's still independent and free. It has no connection to Big Brother. I just like the freedom here. Sign in is easy and there's no attempts to get more and more information from you and very little in the way of advertising and it's non obtrusive. I...

Just came back from a 79.2km ride. Wow.

That is truly awesome! I haven't heard of a ride longer than that one yet on a Teo. I did 30k today and thought I was doing well. You more than doubled that! Wow. I was down to 3 on the battery level so if I did 79k I would have been on manual the last 30k. We have hills and I'm a heavier...

    Shipping to the US

It sounds like you need some troubleshooting. Mine has gobs of power. I easily cruise 30 kph or slightly more on 9. Maybe more voices in this forum can help you decide what to check. Mine is using stock factory settings. I hope you can get it sorted out.

    Downhill both ways... :)

When I got my Teo, I said that I was going to keep the power assist in the lower ranges, get lots of exercise, and not go racing around at top speed just because I can. Well, the other day I had good reason to hurry into town, a ten kilometer ride with a 375 foot drop over the course of the...

TÉO EBR Review - good one.

Hi, Thanks for the compliments. I read a post bemoaning the lack of a review and I agreed with it. I had contacted Court and asked about a review and he said he was coming out this way in a few weeks, so, of course, the logical thing to do is offer to let him test my Teo S Fat Bike and don't...

    Stock Lighting

Hi, I haven't ridden at night yet and I'm curious about lighting. It appears we have a headlight powered by the main power cell and that that headlight does not have a bright/dim switch. I'm ok with that BTW, as I don't ride much at night. Mine also came with a small rubber mounted red tail...

    Maybe no Teo for me

Doesn't this line of Benoit's post fix that? "I want to notify purchasers from the United States that customs fees are now paid with the Globex transportation broker."

    Generating some traffic...

I can't speak about the Radrover because I don't own one, but with the tires inflated to 25 lbs, I find it not too bad at all pedaling without power. I mean it is a 62 pound bike, but even on the Kendas doesn't roll too bad. I'd be willing to pedal it home 5 miles in the lower gears if I had...

    Maybe no Teo for me

Hi J. Petersen, This may be good news for you. Benoit posted on the forum in the section Order is done...thanks to all who posts so much detail and this is what he said: Hello, good news! I want to notify purchasers from the United States that customs fees are now paid with the Globex...

    Maybe no Teo for me

Sounds like a logistics problem. Mine took a little longer than I would have liked due to shipping problems at both ends. The bikes were bumped onto the next boat and took extra time to get to Vancouver and then to Montreal, and then the shipper took a few days longer to get here than I would...

Order is done...thanks to all who posts so much detail

Congratulations Shaun, I've had mine for a few days now and it is a great bike. Today I rode 25 km with one nasty big hill, over a kilometer long and climbing about 300 feet. It was steep enough that I needed low gear and PAS on 9. There were 2 experienced cyclists on conventional bikes...

Please post when you find out the Téos are in!

Hi, Thanks Stephane for the kickstand reminder. I had forgotten about it and will do it this morning. Yesterday I took the bike through some sand a few inches deep that was challenging on my mountain bike. On the Teo it was as if I was still on a regular trail. The only challenge I had was...

Please post when you find out the Téos are in!

What a BIKE! Mine arrived today and it is well worth the wait. The gearing, PAS, and throttle are all fairly intuitive and it has lots of power. I agree that raising the PAS as you go through the gears makes a lot of sense. I notice that it's good to have the brake on slightly to cut out the...

    Brake fluid: Mineral Oil

A friend of mine uses a heat gun to remove tape. The key is to take your time and be gentle so as to not rip the paint. As the glue on the tape heats up, it loses adhesion and releases from the paint and metal. This is probably a good place to research online to get rid of the black not so...
