    It’s definitely in the rear wheel because it can be duplicated with the wheel on the bench just by moving the sprocket back and forth. The noise is amplified by the large motor housing.

    Velofix assembled the bike and did the first service as well. $200. The tech said he thought this normal. The factory sent me a video of a Radcity and a Rad mini both making the same clunk and the Senior Customer Service person is the one who said they all make the noise.

    I have a 2019 Radcity with 200 Miles. What I notice is a “clunk” when starting to pedal after coasting.     I sold two at 599. My son and I use the others. That gets my cost down to 399. I don't think you can buy as good a quality as these that are rated for 330# for any less even if you make your own.
