I'm trying to tighten down, but the gold colored side spins freely and the clamp side never tightens down. So basically you slide the pin through, the silver mechanism locks into place but then it won't tighten down anymore and I can't hold it so that it tightens it down.

An electric mountain bike that has no display and no assist settings. The bike would dynamically adjust power on the fly so there would be no need to change anything. It would be a minimalists dream. Pay me now.
