Report of 3-4 ebike riders being victims to late night robbers, no-one seriously injured, but 3 ebikes stolen and some phones and cash.
So here's a question, since we ride bikes that are 3x more expensive than the...
I've had various problems with my DIY build. Most of them centering around the distance the chain has to extend from the Granny gear, and following 3 closest gears. In my set-up, it's an 8 speed, so I'm talking about 1-3 gear. My bike keeps dropping the chain, and I've taken it to 2 shops, they...
Today was the first day of the D.E.B.E and man was it fun! I had a few trouble with my Fatbike that caused me to end up driving there, but that worked out okay, because I got to be @Court Rye and Pete Prebus who are like ebike internet stars, lol. Anyways I got a chance to test out a few bikes...
This was a nice little feature that I used quite often. The ability to compare two or more bike spec's right next to each other really helped me look at other qualities of the bike that I "thought" I wanted. @Court any chance of bringing this feature back to EBR?
Hey gang, I was adjusting my battery cradle today and when I touched the hex key to the screw the prongs on the battery sparked... is this just discharge from the electricity stored in the cradle? Can this injure my cradle or controller?
If you live in or near DENVER COLORADO and own an electric bike or are interested in eBikes but haven't committed for one reason or the other, I hereby officially invite ALL OF YOU to the first Denver Ebike meetup.
When and Where you say...??
For now I'm going to leave that open until we have...
My wife noticed I've been slacking on my MisFit health tracker, when she found it at the bottom of our washing machine... I couldn't remember where I lost it. Needless to say it didn't survive the countless washes since I lost it. So on my birthday she got a Fitbit Charger HR, and I just started...
Personally, I'm not letting this review dis-hearten me from my order. Simply from reading these forums and watching videos, all the issues listed below are expected. Personally, I don't plan on using my Fat tire bike on singletrack trails or anything hardcore. I'm using it for commuting in the...
I didn't really see a place where we could discuss INTERBIKE 2015, so I thought I'd make one. Plus it looks like the ST2 has claimed the bike of the year award if this post on Interbike.com is correct. I haven't found any videos for award day but besides the 'tech' that has wireless connectivity...
Personally, being decisive with money isn't my strong point. I agonise over every purchase I make. Wondering if I should have waited, or looked longer for a better deal. So when choosing to spend around 2000$ on a bicycle with a motor entered my mind, at first it was all "HELLZ YEAH!!" Then I...
I was checking in on bike of interest, when I stumbled upon a comment on their FB page.
One curious user asks why the website still says "pre-order". In the following screen shot's I capture the conversation for your reading and opinion on the matter. I have already clearly stated mine, but...
I'm confused. On the Pedego website, it has a comparision chart. The interceptor says it's "All around" while the City Commuter says "Commuting". Yes I understand the obviousness of it, but spec wise, they are the same bike, some minor difference like tire/rim size and fenders... but the motor's...
As long as I've been on the forums, I haven't had a chance to test ride any ebikes. Most likely why I still don't own one, but that has changed as of today. I found a bike shop that is much closer to home and today I got to test ride a few bikes.
I want to give a shout out to my new favorite...
With the priority bicycle using a 3 speed internal hub, and the gates carbon belt drive system, I'm just curious if there's a way, other than using a front hub, to turn this bike into an electric bike?
And would it be worth it?
@Chandlee EBS
Stumbled upon this video about Priority bicycles. They are simple low maintenance bikes with carbon belt and 3 speed internally geared rear hub. Seems like it might be decent for a conversion kit.
