    Hello from AZ

That is why I selected the 52t over the stock 48. As for high end cranks, I don't consider the ones I'm looking at to be high end, but a needed improvement over the stock cast iron ones.

Yep, which is why I don't want to buy a crankset that doesn't carry about a 65 chainline. The mathing here throws me a bit, since the BB number would need to be reduced by half, but there's more to it, yes?

Why does giant need me to be online to use the bike?

Sounds like the Matrix is manifesting at Giant.

Another question: Has anyone here replaced the crank arms on their M2 with ones made of better material? If so, recommendations?

What brand of 4 pot brakes did you use?

    Hello from AZ

I'm running a thumb throttle, but I hardly ever use it. Four pot front brakes are on the menu, though the current 2 piston hydraulics do a pretty good job already. I have a Brooks Cambium C67 on it currently and swapped out pedals (for Look Geo Trails). I have a set of less chunky Arisun tires...

    Hello from AZ

Very new to the ebike scene, but I've been a bicycle nut since I could first pedal. I recently decided that I want to commute to work 2-3 days a week, but, as the trip is 16 miles one way, I made the foray into ebikes. I bought an Aipas M2 Max, which, like all other bikes, I've begin modifying...
