You could add a third motor with a front wheel hub drive. 😁 I considered using a front wheel hub as a second motor on my rear hub bike. It would act as a spare, but I'd do it mostly for something to cobble on. :)

It depends on where I'm riding. I always carry my phone with AAA and Uber apps as well as cash. Credit cards aren't always accepted. For remote area rides, I carry quite a few of the items listed above. I also carry a Garmin Inreach satellite communicator that has true global coverage.

The pictures I've seen show the break at or near the bend where it flexes the most. Odds are far less likely a break will occur using a short straight piece of it. As I said earlier, I weigh 250 and have had no issues with mine in +/- 1K miles. At my weight, I wouldn't trust using it as a spring.

It appears the product is being sold under several brand names. Mine was from Gorix, but it looks exactly the same.

I bought one with the Gorix logo which was discontinued, but it's the same product. Most of the bad reviews I read were due to the bounce.

I see Amazon stopped selling the Gorix product here in the US due to a high number of returns. It's still available elsewhere though.

One of my last conventional bikes, a Diamondback Sorrento, had the crank considerably forward of the vertical and at some point it began to bother my back. I switched to a Trek Shift 4 with a more vertical alignment and found it much more comfortable. Could be different with an e-bike though...

I think it would depend on the LEO. IMO, a throttle is easier to spot than a 1000W motor.
