Lots of rain in my area, so trails have been mostly muddy. I did get a couple of hrs riding park trails between rains, but don't know when I can get back.

Almost 100% of gater problems are from people feeding them, either directly or from trash/litter. We have had several removed from the rv park when they got big enough for the state to come get them. That being said, I don't let my little dog to close to the water.

I've never heard of anything like that happening. Been a few attacks on People or dogs in water, or people walking little dogs near water.

There are plenty of watch for gater signs also. The state park has around 300 6'+ that They know of in 1000 acers of water, so seeing big ones pretty common.

No they are metal. You see real ones in both parks sometimes, a lot of times during certain times of the year. Area has plenty.

Thanks, I have room to go bigger, at least to 20ah. If funds are available I'll look at 52v. I keep it on, or under 15mph, but there are some long stretches of road through the state park that I ride in and more distance before heading back sounds good.

Unable to peddle my Adult trike anymore, I parked it for several years until I could get a ebike kit for it. I went with a 48v battery and a direct drive cargo trike motor kit. There are lots of both bike paths and trails through wildlife and floral habitat and I get out on a regular basis on it.

Kit is E-trike direct drive cargo trike. The Babyboomer Trike company went out of business 10, 12 years ago. Thanks Everyone
