Welcome from Delta BC! Gotta say 75lbs is a LOT! That said it totally depends on your situation and desires. I like to throw my EMTB on a rack on my car occasionally and ride from a different location. My bike is maybe 50lbs without the battery, and that is about all I want to lift onto my rack...

No doubt, along with weather, road conditions and area (salt on road in winter etc.). Variables...

Yup, understood. That is why I asked. Riding and shifting style makes a massive difference IMHO and experience, be it hub drive or mid drive.

Is that an ebike average, or historical acoustic bike inclusive?
