    the shape of the tire is critical to how it inflates. if it is real wide before you put it on spread out there is a good chance. if it is cupped the tire lip close to touching your going to need a lot more air. not always of course. I got new tires for my commuter some really nice continentals...

    a great pump too on sale. elettrico-mini-inflator I have the bigger one and it works great. charges super fast too.

    it sounds like the wheel needs rebuilt from the ground up. once you have that may spokes break the wheel is compromised.

    I used to do the skewers. but I dont leave my bike locked for long anymore. man the through axles locks are really expensive.

    it will work better then those plastic blocks. of course I just changed pads in my bikes so now it wont get used for awhile.
