Anyone converted their Turbo Vado to tubeless tires?

I had to look up "Portable Air Tank", as the only ones I know of are connected to a large floor compressor. Though, I do not own a compressor. It seems you mean something like an Airshot tank which you fill with a regular bike floor pump? https://a.co/d/0c0A9Yhm I have been using a Lezyne...

Anyone converted their Turbo Vado to tubeless tires?

Let's hope you'r not jinxed DaveMatthews! Today, I pulled my manual MTB out of the garage, to prep for ride. I have tubeless tires and the front Schwalbe Racing Ray had 8 wet spots or sealant bubbles (Stan's sealant). I am not even sure where I rode it last, but thorns, cause these types of...

2026 - Our Rides in Words, Photos, Maps and Videos

@Jeremy McCreary, likely just that we are riding so much that our pads get worn quickly, and the system gets dirty. you can see in my first Before photo of my rear, the pistons are compensating for the thin pad material so, that can cause some drag. The funny thing is my rear pads in my photo...

Haha, what a coincidence Chargeride, I was just coming on to post about my brake pad swap yesterday. But you ride through some rough stuff, so I am not surprised by the wear. My brakes were screaming like a banshee. But I also changed the rotors too - transferred from another bike. And, I got a...

My dream bike got stolen. Lessons, next?

I hear ya DDBB, I am a former mild moto guy. My first moto was a RM80, it was never stolen in upstate NY. but we have to move on. Unfortunately, I have had 3 bikes stolen...from Syracuse, NY and SF. So have to move on and be smarter than all of the thieves!

Watching the peloton - Professional Road Racing thread 2026

Thanks for the link. so many videos out there. I have this in my queue. Riding my non ebike today, I was sensitive to the PSI. I always am. even as a slow guy. but at their speeds and the square edged cobbles, every rider is gambling a bit.. riding in a pack, not being able to chose an optimal...

My dream bike got stolen. Lessons, next?

I just did a grocery run on my Creo, I used the money I could have spent on a clanker/clunker bike for a Hiplok, which requires about 6 cutting wheels to cut through. But also no room for yet another bike. I have a Quick rack and panniers. the rack mounting points are built into the Creo, and...

Watching the peloton - Professional Road Racing thread 2026

Question for you long time pro racing fans, as I am a new spectator.... Were there more mechanicals this year than in recent Paris Roubaix? It would seem that with all of the bike, wheel and tire advancements the bikes would be much more durable for this race. Or are the riders pushing the bikes...

@Rás Cnoic, I installed the Wolf Tooth side by side adapter the night before the ride. Wolf Tooth is awesome... they have so many good ideas. I already had the B-Rad 2 base to allow my water bottle to move down so I could fit a frame bag on my Hakka. So this side by side adapter was added to...

I don't know. but I feel the extra weight under me in responsiveness. I have been riding stronger than ever so I am out of the saddle and pumping up some inclines with low power. The baseline 31lb bike feels great. Doing the same, loaded with RE battery and water and rack+bag is noticeable. Not...

Well, I was a little bored, so I weighed my bike…since my Creo was in the same mode as my big ride, with two water bottles and tools and stuff in the trunk bag. And it is 10lbs heavier. so 41lb RtoRide Oh…I just realized I had the flat pedal adapter installed on my XT SPD pedals….I went grocery...
