    Aventon Level vs. Ride1Up 700

Aren't Aventon bike frames made and welded in California?

    Pace 500/350 Assembly Tips

Thanks RC for the pic. That does look better than a gaping hole.

    Pace 500/350 Assembly Tips

I did miss that. I kept all the parts so I'll have to go look for it. Right now the stem hole and bolt are exposed.

    Pace 500/350 Assembly Tips

What "black plastic plug"? Maybe I missed that.

    hub motor issues

Steveo, that does sound like a motor issue. I have read that there is a washer in the motor that can come loose and cause issues.

    Ride Quality of Pace 500

The Pace 500's hub drive is much more than, "ok". It works really well for this 61 year old.

    Pace 350 & 500 Tubes

Just wanted everyone to know that the Paces' double wall rims need a long inflation valve. This Amazon tube with the longer 48mm valve (Schrader is the normal valve, Presta is the strange, how-does-this-thing-work valve) is what you need for your Pace. Select the 48mm long valve with the...

    Pace 500 Front Crankset

I haven't tried it but you'll probably need a longer chain too.

Pace 500 Initial Impression and Mini Review

The battery capacity of the Pace 500 is really impressive. I just did a 42 mile ride including a 1700 feet climb to Round Knob Campground in the Cherokee National Forest over a muddy and rocky gravel road. I used pedal assist level 1 for most of the ride including the climb up the mountain. I...

Pace 500 Initial Impression and Mini Review

I now have 493 miles on my Pace 500 and still absolutely love the bike. I added a Suntour NCX suspension seatpost and it was a fantastic addition--I highly recommend it for comfort. The factory handlebars are fine but I wanted a more aggressive riding position so I also added a semi-straight...

Known Issues & Problems with Aventon Products + Help, Solutions, & Fixes

Blipping the throttle is easier than dialing around the display so I'll start doing that to keep the Pace awake.

Known Issues & Problems with Aventon Products + Help, Solutions, & Fixes

I posted earlier that my Pace 500 battery was shutting down during rides. Well I realized I was riding the bike in PAS 0 for too long so the bike was doing the auto-shutdown thing. I just have to remember to blip the throttle or switch between Trip A and Trip B or something else every few...

Please tell me about your Pace 350

I also looked at conversions but the total price approached the price of the Aventon. It doesn't make sense.

Known Issues & Problems with Aventon Products + Help, Solutions, & Fixes

I'm 6'2" and 240 lbs and my wife's Pace 350 medium step through fits me just fine. I can get the seat high enough to fit my legs perfectly and I don't really notice a difference in fit between her bike and my large frame top-bar Pace 500. If we needed to share a bike a medium would work well for...

Known Issues & Problems with Aventon Products + Help, Solutions, & Fixes

The battery has turned off on a couple of my rides and at least one other person has mentioned this problem on the Facebook forum. I saw the display was blank and tried to turn it back on and couldn't. That's when I realized the battery had turned off. I was able to tap the battery on switch and...

Pace 500 - be careful at start, especially when also turning

I completely agree with everything ^Bigal1463 said above.
