"Lock" a Bosch Nyon 2 head unit to the bike

Okay. What threw me was your reference to a mounting screw, this is not a mounting screw. The head-unit mounts without the screw.

"Lock" a Bosch Nyon 2 head unit to the bike

Standard mount, but thanks for your help. You seem to on to the very solution I was looking for.. It looks like the same approach is used as with the Nyon 2. I should have read the manual :)

"Lock" a Bosch Nyon 2 head unit to the bike

There is no secure mounting of the unit itself. It slips into the mount attached to the bike. The mount is 'permanently' attached to the bike rather than the head unit, hence the question. I hope that makes sense.

"Lock" a Bosch Nyon 2 head unit to the bike

I am curious as to whether anyone has come up with a way to secure a Bosch Nyon 2 head unit to the bike (Supercharger 2 in my case). I am looking for ideas to 'lock' the unit to the bike for ducking into shops, overnight camping etc.

Wahoo ELEMNT Ace (on Specialized E-Bikes)

I use RidewithGPS to create my routes and then include any POIs that I want in the route. WHen that route is directly transferred to the Wahoo it the POIs show up and are even navigable to.

Wahoo ELEMNT Ace (on Specialized E-Bikes)

That is my experience too. I have mounted my Ace so I can change the angle of it if I need to see it better in different light conditions. I am happier with the navigation, plus it shows my points of interest. This was not working for me with my Garmin 1030.

    Easy way to clean rotors.

Is this what you are referring to?

    Rohloff or not?

I cannot see why you need to take the chain apart to remove the wheel. An IGH has a sprocket which you chain would run on, just like a bicycle with a cassette. You just need to life the chain off the sprocket/cassette.

    Rohloff or not?

Power cable. It is electronic shifting (well, my Rohloff is, you can get old school shifting models as well).

    Rohloff or not?

Pretty much ... no through axle but. Old school skewer. The electrical connection can be removed first. Nothing hard about it.

    Rohloff or not?

In my case the same as with a chain execept that I have to disconnect the cables to the electronic shifter.

    Rohloff or not?

Gates have a app that assists with setting the tension. No idea as to its effectiveness as I have not had to use it yet.

    Rohloff or not?

Rohloffs are known in the touring world for their robust reliability; people tour for months, if not years, on them and without any issues of note. Personally, I would not be concerned about my Rohloff and a 350-mile jaunt. I have an 800 km jaunt coming up in July. The Rohloff, other than...

Bike RADAR - for other bikes

That is an interesting point. One I will have to watch for and see if that explains the lack of detection with my Trackr Radar.

    I finally made it,

I have a few of these that I ride past regularly. One is on a down hill ... you can guess the rest :)

Bike RADAR - for other bikes

I have a Wahoo Trackr Radar and in my experience it is very hit and miss on detecting bicycles. More miss than hit. With motorcycles they get detected as well as cars, which is pretty much 100%. Not sure what you mean by scooters, as we consider them motorcycles (so they get detected) and I have...

NSW [Australia] considering plan to halve power and top speed of ebikes as rider dies in collision with garbage truck

Interesting comment about the roundabouts. They are not welcome here from a cyclists point of view. They are quite dangerous for a couple of rasons: motor vehicle operators like to fail to give away to vehicles in the roundabout (bicycles are vehicles) so near misses and worse are quite common...

NSW [Australia] considering plan to halve power and top speed of ebikes as rider dies in collision with garbage truck

We do drive on the right side, the left side, which is why it is called right hand side driving :)
