    Some LMT'D updates

So since my last update I have had quite a few rides with my LMT'D now. Ride1up sent me two new crank bolts to replace the missing ring around the right crank bolt. Received that Saturday. The bike is fun to ride. The torque sensor is more like a real bike feel of pushing the pedals for power...

    Some LMT'D updates

I rode again this morning and just used the torque sensor to ride. I used the throttle only twice to take off from a stop but you really do not need need that ability since the torque sensor will get the bike moving right away. Old habits from cadence sensor riding. I had 0 instances of the...

    Some LMT'D updates

So today when I was riding around it was hot and I am still experimenting with the bike. I tried an extended stretch on full throttle for about a mile and I lost power. I still had the display but no throttle or power by the crank sensor to the motor. I shut it down and within a few minutes...

    Some LMT'D updates

I have used the throttle to get up to 22 mph. I have also used the throttle to start out then started pedaling and there is no hesitation between the two. Going for a ride this morning so will experiment some more.

    Some LMT'D updates

I restored it to factory settings. This is the current set for PAS 1, 2 and 3. I'm not sure if it goes above 22 amps.

    Some LMT'D updates

I received the missing crank bolt spacer from Ride1up today. They sent me a set. Everything seems sorted out now. Had a clicking noise coming from the crank. Changed out the pedals but still had the noise. Took a spirited ride today really leaning on the pedals getting to warp speed. It went...

My amps were set at 18 Ride1up suggest 11

Does anyone know what power assistant sensor settings do? The owners manual states Assistant Num represents PAS sensitivity settings. The settings are from 5 to 24. Mine comes from the factory at 24.

My amps were set at 18 Ride1up suggest 11

So I have mine at factory settings and this is what the amps are in PAS 1, 2 and 3.

My amps were set at 18 Ride1up suggest 11

I want to start a Microsoft word document with all the information about the display. I have a few questions. 1. What is the effect when you raise the amp setting on a specific PAS setting? 2. I could have sworn Ride1up said not to change the factory settings so you get the optimum effect...

Finally got my Lmt'd but what's this part?

I was missing the crank bolt cover for the right crank arm but Ride1up is sending me a set of crank bolts and covers.

    Some LMT'D updates

Sorry, I just got back from a trip to Zion national park so didn't see your message. I was confused because like you I found out it was nothing like the LMT'D assembly video. All the parts were there but it took me a while to figure out the order. Lot's of people on the Facebook page were also...

    Some LMT'D updates

Someone wrote this on the Facebook page. "Kevin said it’s OK to change the number of PAS levels, like what you did. He just doesn’t want anyone going into the settings and changing the percentage of each PAS level. Apparently it would cause the torque sensor to not function optimally." So not...

    Some LMT'D updates

I took a nice long ride today with a friend who has a Pedego by the Las Vegas wash. It is very technical trail with quite a number of hills with one very steep one. First thing I noticed was the LMT'D's motor is quite loud compared to my Dapu 500 watt. The Dapu sounds like a muffled swarm of...

    LMT’D brake sensor

I do not think the Tektro brakes on the LMT'D have a cutoff sensor. It is just a hydraulic line running from the brake handle to the caliper and no wires going to the controller. Once you stop pedaling or hitting the throttle the bike will just coast like a regular bicycle. I'm glad because it...

    Review: New LMT'D - new owner's perspective

I ordered the Cafe bars. They are very narrow. I'm 6' 1" and they are as wide as my shoulders. I put on an adjustable steering stem when I assembled the bike so they are up and I have pretty much a sit up position like a comfort bike. Now saying that they are not uncomfortable but I think I feel...

    Some LMT'D updates

Also change the battery display from percentage to voltage. You will get a much more accurate picture of the remaining power.

    Some LMT'D updates

Ok follow up. I took the fork apart "one more time" and added that plastic ring and it took up the space but was not tight. Seems for better or worse that's how it goes. Took the bike for a spirited ride. Some odd noises I don't hear from my Dapu 500 watt motor but I just put my headphones on...

    Some LMT'D updates

I took mine to Southwest Bikes in Las Vegas to have the derailleur and both brakes aligned. They did it while I waited and charged $24.00 which I thought was very fair.

    Some LMT'D updates

Anyone check the spoke tension on the wheels yet? My right rear was between 24-25 on my tool and the left rear 22-23. I had to adjust a few to stay in that range of each other. Ride1UP has some different numbers on their support page. Spoke Tension Rear wheel, 12G spoke: Left side 114-130kgs...

    Some LMT'D updates

Ok, I put the sprocket and chain on this morning. Tried to adjust the rear derailleur and just made it worse so I took it to my local bike shop and while I waited they adjusted the rear derailleur and both brake calipers for $24.00. Took it for a quick ride and the electronics seem ok. I put on...
