Those failed twice for me - plastic is not durable and prone to cracking unfortunately. Great they work for you! They are nice mirrors.

well, it depends. One things where oil is superior is hidden installation and angles - you can apply pretty much any shape to it and it works exactly the same. Cable is much more demanding to the maintaining the as straight as possible installation to make it work and doesn't like angles at all...

Not worth it - hubs are leaking and won't survive long without oil anyway. Company is dead, 100% hubs have fatal flaw - no point to invest into this.
