I have the Kiox, so I believe it gets location/altitude data from the phone. If Nyon has altitude and location built in, I'm wonderring what does it need a phone app for? Cheers, John

Hello there... Since around the end of January, any ride I have recorded in ebike connect shows an unchanging altitude, or sometimes changing by just 1 or 2 metres ( for eg 200m ascent). In case anyone else is puzzled by similar behaviour, it seems that it is because of an error in Google...

I had similar problem with the bonty tyres that came on my allant+ 8. Like otehr shere, I got it off by putting rim down flat (on padded ground) and standing on tyre either side. It came off eventually. Couldnt believe how hard it was, gfirts time I'd had a problem removing a tyre in 50 years.

Our mirrcyles have fitted into 3 different bars, including the standrad bonty ones that came with my trek allant+ 8. They come with 2 different cyclindrical shims, you choose which one is tightest fit inside your bar. Rock solid.

Another +1 for Mirrycle - both me and the missus use them and love them. Hard to get here in the UK now for some reason. Very solidly built, no wobble at all, great adjustability. Overall, a lovely bit of design

Huya Great, thanks for this. I don't think I'd be able to use my rear (Ortlieb) panniers with that arrangement, but then with a trailer maybe I wouldn't need to! I'm guessing bthat a seat-post attached trailer would allow me to use both though. Cheers, John

Interesting, I have an Allant+ 8 and am considering a trailer, and this looks good. How does it attach to the axle? Looks like the rack bolts take up the available space on mine. Did you need to get a replacement, longer through-axle to allow fitting both rear rack and trailer? Many thanks...

I asked Bosch about this, and they were unequivocal - no harm in charging to 100%, or running it down ro 0%, or topping up little and often, whatever takes your fancy. But they do stress not storing your battery for any length of time full or empty - they recommend around the 60% mark as people...

You can buy a neoprene cover, that's what I use on my allant+ 8. Works a treat. This is the one I got, made by Fahrer...

I understand your caution, but I would be very surprised if that single hole in the lower mount was in a different position in the two versions.

Hiya... Almost exactly the same! the lower mount point in your illustration is bigger and has 3 holes in it. Mine has 2 holes, this is the one I have: https://www.spacycles.co.uk/m5b0s79p156/TUBUS-Tara-Lowrider I see that on this site, again listing the rack I have got, it says 26" 28" wheels...

If your fork is the same as on my Allant+8, then you can fit a tubus tara lowrider: I've used one of these on my normal tour bike for years and they are brilliant.
