I'm 5-10 and ride a large with the seat about 4" up. You will want the XL.

    Love my Allant+7 BUT...

My wife has the 7s I have the 8s, we have done some 55 mile rides that average 17-19 and both had 25% battery left at the end. We did a 42 mile ride with 3000' elevation change and had 55% battery (as much down hill as up) You can get some great range if you stay off turbo even with heavy loads.

7 Problems in 14 Days Ownership: 2021 Trek Domane HP Electrical Bike You Should Avoid At All Cost

Granted the components are not made by Trek but they selected these components to create a "bicycle system". The Trek manufactured parts are only as good as the rest of the required parts. If they spec parts and can't support them or they don't work in this system they need to take a look at how...

    Alternative rack for Allant+ 8

Love it. So far I haven't had any issues with the stock rack. I regularly do winery rides and bring back 6-8 bottles in each pannier plus 2 U locks and a big chain lock.

Allant+8S any way to reduce max speed to 20mph?

Are you doing this for you or someone else? You can't limit the speed to 20mph, even unassisted the bike isn't hard to pedal at 20+mph for a short distance. If you're worried about yourself, just limit it yourself by not riding as fast. I can limit my 8s to 10 mph or 5 mph. The software isn't a...

5 Bosch Display Choices - Good, Bad and Ugly

If you are making decisions based on the original post most of it is out of date and inaccurate. The Nyon and Cobi are both available in North America, the features and functions have all been improved since 2019. You really need to start your research from scratch at this point and only pay...

    Trek ebike Customer Experience

I feel your pain. I purchased my 8s in Portland from Bike Gallery (a factory Trek store) the sales people were ok but not especially knowledgeable, the service department was worse. They told me I needed to drive an hour back on another day to have my software updated so the untis could be...

New Allant+ 8S owner, impressions and a question

You'll like the rigid fork for the increased efficiency. We have done many miles with no assist when riding with unpowered friends. They pedal on the flats easy to 15-16mph. Get a suspension seatpost, lower front pressure a little and the ride is nice. Order some clear protective film, cover the...

Why did you choose an Allant 7 vs Allant 8?

Wife got the 7 because she likes blue and it was her size, I got the 8 for the bigger battery and I like red.

    Bought an Allant 8s today

Great bike, we have done a 60 mile ride and still had battery, and they pedal unassisted very well too. Get some clear protective film and do the main tubes.
