    Right of way question

Exactly. I often ride in Acadia National Park which is just a short few miles ride from my house. Most of that is one way and bikes can only ride one way the same as cars.

    Right of way question

Sounds simple to me. One rides with traffic not against it. He should have been on the other side of the street.

    Are my assumptions correct?

Since the only difference between a class 1 and 2 is a throttle, I simple deactivate mine before going on the trail.

Front page LA Times today regarding Ebikes

"Taking guns, away from millions of people like me, isn't going to reduce mass shootings." I don't believe that is true. The difference between a "good guy with a gun" and a "bad guy with a gun" is a momentary bad decision. If, when said person makes that decision, they have a gun with...

Do you support the US federal E-BIKE act?

Like a lot of problems humans tend to deal with after it's too late.

    Multiple e-bikes, one battery?

I have a Rad Rover and a Rad Mini. I don't ride the mini all that much but since the batteries for both are identical I simply alternate batteries mostly in the Rover so both batteries are in regular use.

More Rad lawsuit fallout? (good for the consumer)

What I've learned from owning my Rad Rover is that to remove the front wheel I have to completely unscrew it, remove the axle, and then smack the tire a few times with a rubber mallet before it drops off.

More Rad lawsuit fallout? (good for the consumer)

Odd. Sounds to me like he yanked on the front brake to avoid a collision and flew over the handle bars. Not sure what that has to do with the front wheel coming off after the fact.

    Button/Switch?

It would mean that if the battery is on the bike that anyone can turn on the bike without using a key.

    Button/Switch?

It sounds a bit like when you turn the key it both turns off the battery and unlocks it from the frame at the same time. I would not like that.

    Button/Switch?

That's true of mine as well regarding turning on the display but one extra turn of the key after it locks the battery is needed to send power to that button. Then when I stop and turn the key back it turns off the power and I can remove the key but the battery will still be locked in place.

    Button/Switch?

Does it do anymore than that? For instance one click of my key locks the battery in place and the next click turns on the power.

Your battery doesn't have a key?

Bike that can carry an extra rider

Curious about why cargo bikes all seem to have little wheels. Do smaller wheels handle bigger loads?

Yeah, I own two Ebiles but apparently don't qualify either. Curious about what actual info they are looking for?
