Turbo Como 4.0 IGH: How to be prepared for flat tire?

Use caution with the stuff you put into the tubes. It will work for small holes but if you slice the tube or tear off the presta valve, it won’t work. You’ll need to replace the tube and the only way to do that is by removing the rear axle. You should carry a spare tube, patch kit and inflator...

Turbo Como 4.0 IGH: How to be prepared for flat tire?

On our Vados, once you remove the rear axle, you can remove the rear wheel. I’m not sure about your belt drive bike, but I would think it’s the same. Practice it a couple times at home, before you have a flat in the middle of nowhere.

Turbo Como 4.0 IGH: How to be prepared for flat tire?

My wife and I have Vados. I put some Allen wrenches in a bag that I carry on the bike so I can remove the rear axle. The Como 4.0 is a belt drive, correct?

    Vado 3.0 Range Maximization

Ahh yes, I’d forgotten about Smart Control. Thanks! and yes 50 miles. About 20 years ago I did two Century rides a few months apart on a regular road bike. Ain’t gonna happen now. I hurt for a week after those rides. At the 80 mile mark of one of the rides, there was snacks and a big...

    Vado 3.0 Range Maximization

My wife and I each have Vado 3.0’s and are riding in the Solvang Half Century in a couple weeks. We were going to ride our Tandem, but couldn’t get into shape quickly enough. Solvang is hilly and I’m concerned about the battery range. On some recent training rides I’ve inflated the tires to...

22 Vado SL 5.0 EQ Frame Bags/Storage Recommendations

Look at the Ortlieb Rack Pack. I think that’s what it’s called. Very well made and it clips on the rack and locks in place with their special key.

    Frame wraps

I installed the clear PPF on both our new Levos. It was a pain in the ass and didn’t come out perfect. I’d hate to try and do that one.

Lupine SL X for New Turbo Levo

Thanks Ravi, I’ll look at that one too. My wife and I are gonna ride our Vados to dinner tonight. We tried using them for the hilly single track near my house and it didn’t go so well. My wife went over the handlebars. My fault of course lol.
