    New Spec App?

I just downloaded and recorded a ride with the new app. It does seem to combine the old MC with the Ride app, with improvements. Now the ‘analyze your ride’ tab lets you choose three parameters to view together, a big improvement over the Ride app’s implementation. Now I can scroll through a...

Creo turbo SL - how to measure actual wattage capacity of battery

Not sure if that device would give the battery pack watt hr. capacity. It looks to me like a constant current load tester that would be helpful testing individual cells or power supplies. And I wouldn’t ever completely discharge any lithium ion battery cell or pack. When my Creo was new, at...

Creo turbo SL - how to measure actual wattage capacity of battery

You can see the battery watt hour capacity with Mission Control. Turn the bike on, start MC and select ‘Ride’, like you’re going to use it to record a ride. Then select stats and hold down one of the data windows to bring up options to display. One is the battery watt hour amount. If you fully...

    2023 Trek Domane+

Interesting observation. Every review I’ve read of the various TQ equipped bikes say it’s a very natural feel. Could it be that the TQ rider power number stays high like you described but its motor power fell off like you would expect? I think I read the TQ screen has an option to watch both...

    2023 Trek Domane+

All great information! I’d be interested to see if your multiplication factor to adjust the TQ reported rider power to a more accurate one is the same under different conditions. Like, if you ride in stock eco mode, will it still over-report by the same amount? That seems like it would be easy...

    2023 Trek Domane+

Thanks for posting your data here, I’m interested in how the TQ system works and your experiment has answered some of my questions. So your adjusted rider input must come from your power pedals? It looks like Trek’s rider power is 50% or so high, at least in this case. I’ve read others post on...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

That’s a good tip about flexing the chainring to pull the chain free! In case you haven’t done this, at the bottom of the Blevo screen when you’re reviewing a ride is a ‘send csv file’ tab. If you email it to yourself you’ll see the motor temp (and tons of other data) in a second-by-second...

Creo vs Domane+ SLR w TQ motor - anyone ride both?

Interesting analysis but you have a few facts wrong. First of all you seem to have compared a medium Creo with a Large Domane +. Specialized calls medium a 54, so comparing it with a 54 Domane + SLR shows the Creo to have 17 mm higher stack, 5 mm longer reach, 4mm shorter chainstay and 8mm...

2022 Turbo Creo SL Expert EVO

So true about the cost to retrofit, if available. From what I’ve read on an EMtn Bike forum, it has been confirmed that the 1.2 motor does physically fit into the older Levo sl frame and the battery is the same. The splines are different so a new crankset would be needed. Then there’s the...

2022 Turbo Creo SL Expert EVO

That’s promising! And did they say the 1.2 motor will be available to retrofit into current creos, or will be in the next generation coming soon? Fingers crossed for the former.

2022 Turbo Creo SL Expert EVO

Who at Specialized told you the 1.2 motor will be available to be swapped into the Creo? Was it someone at a LBS, word from corporate, or ?. Just interested to see if this is a realistic expectation or someone’s assumption. Thanks!

What size Creo to get ?

I‘m 6’3” and rode a 61cm Roubaix for years until I got my XXL Creo, I see the XXL as very similar to the older Specialized 61, the XL as a 58, the L as a 56. I put a 90mm (same +- 7 deg as the stock) stem on both my Roubaix and the Creo to shorten the reach a little, and both fit well. With all...

Creo vs Domane+ SLR w TQ motor - anyone ride both?

You say you compared your creo and domane + slr on the highest setting. I wonder if you had the domane pedal response set to 100%, along with its support and max power settings. I read other owners say that with the pedal response maxed out the torque/power comes on early and then feels like it...

    New SL 1.2 motor revealed

Yeah, that seems to be a typo/mistake. Other docs that have been taken down said 48 volts.

    New SL 1.2 motor revealed

I’ve been following an e mountain bike forum for early news about the SL updates and multiple people posted today with leaked specs for the new Levo SL. Since the current Levo SL uses the same motor as the Vado SL and creo, it seems safe ti assume this next gen. will as well. The new motor is...

    Firmware update for charging limit

Good luck, the 80% charge limit worked fine for me for about 6 or 7 charges and then started going to 100% again. So far the last 4 charges have gone to 100 so I’m going back to my old method of just estimating the time and unplugging the charger before it reaches full charge.

    Firmware update for charging limit

Yes, I have a creo with the older tcu and the 80% charge option works on mine. I got the update a few weeks ago and can confirm that the charge stops at 80% now. There is an on-off option in M C so you’re free to use it or not.
