    Tubeless Blues

Thisi s why going tubeless can be great. Here is our tandem tire. (its now worn out) but I just took it off, and I counted 14 separate spots that had been sealed in jsut a few months. it would have only been 2 or 3 if I had say a marathon plus but then the ride is much harsher and slower.

Photochromic sunglasses - yes or no?

This was my first pair of polarized glasses but they have been great. My Garmin screen cant be seen from the side but that's about it. but I also bought really good lens so that helps too.

    tandem wheel battle.

I think it was mostly the cliffhanger rim that could not take it. but it could be the need for 36 spokes. The stock wheel had 36 and he has been pretty good. Plus the weight with our junk is around 450 pounds plus we towed around our granddaughter.

no thats my doner bike. thats where all the parts are coming from. well all that work but almost all of them do. the front wheel wont. I thought I could change the endcaps on the dt swiss hub but nope. took the performance speed moto out of it and put it in the tandem after it had issues. we...

    tandem wheel battle.

with the weight of our e tandem and that I wanted a tubeless setup the rear wheel has been a battle. The stock wheel just a Shimano Deore 36 worked fine but you can't even getto tubeless on the rim. its held up wheel. During the pandemic we had a 32 hole dt swiss wheel built and it lasted about...

Photochromic sunglasses - yes or no?

why are you scratching them up? Most decent lenses have a scratch coating and I haven't seen scratches in years. I also putthem in a case now while riding. Plus now with the water repellant I just wash them in warm water and some soap and tap them on the edge on a sleeve to get the water off...

getting a regular bike after my battery fails?

no the motor feels good but with all the rain I ride in can cause issues. Best case I will have a backup bike and a new battery. but it may be time to just have a e tandem and the trek for casual use.

getting a regular bike after my battery fails?

ya but that cost would be about the same as having it done and its not something I would do again. I did make a tool once to put the star nut in. I will have it cut with all the spacers since I won't know what I need till I hop on. crap I thought my front dt swiss up could convert from qr to...
