Superdelite pros and cons - Worth it the extra weight?

I see the Moustache weight is 25.5Kg. Of course, has only one battery, but the Superdelite with one battery weights 30Kg

Pannier or backpack for city travelling?

A stylish pannier. Who knows if it is suitable for RM bikes? One problem I can see is that water can enter the bag from the side. Secondly, there are no pockets & compartments From your experience, does a fully-loaded single pannier makes the bike very unbalanced?

Superdelite pros and cons - Worth it the extra weight?

I am waiting for my dealer to tell me about battery covers, so I can remove one battery on shorter trips

Pannier or backpack for city travelling?

Yes, it was replaced free of charge by the shop! BTW the original model 2020-21 can be used with panniers, however it will suffer from all the vibrations and shocks coming from the wheel

Superdelite pros and cons - Worth it the extra weight?

I usually ride in Eco mode, then Tour and Sport only on steeper uphill. Turbo is left where muscular bikers are pushing bikes as it is impossible to ride.

Pannier or backpack for city travelling?

Superdelite 2020-21 comes with a basic pack carrier: I have changed this with the standard one: Big advantage, this is not connected to the wheel! Now.... what pack? Sidepack or would you go with a backpack on shoulders? Main use: city travelling. A few samples.... Bellroy Apex Brooks...

    Best prostate-protective saddle

As doctors disagree on this, I would say to stay safe it's a good idea to use a perineum free saddle! My previuos bike had this saddle, not bad.. would like to find something softer

Superdelite pros and cons - Worth it the extra weight?

What I don't like is the feeling when riding over 25Kmph (when the engine kicks out) as you can feel how heavy the bike is when pedalling. But the feeling when you're uphill is unbelievable, it'is like the bad part of cycling was removed, and this makes you appreciate ebikes!

Superdelite pros and cons - Worth it the extra weight?

My bike is a DualBattery 1125 combo... To ride 35Km on mixed grounds it takes 2hrs. How long do you ride each day? (BTW last year was with no sport activities and lockdown was the bitter end)

Superdelite pros and cons - Worth it the extra weight?

The Superdelite seems to be the heaviest bike in the Riese Muller list. Most than anything else, this is due to batteries weight. At our age (55 & 59) we're wondering if there will be ever an occasion to ride the bikes more than 50Km per day, thus I am asking myself if there's a point of keeping...

    Battery contacts and water spill

We have washed our Superdelite and Delite bikes. When removing the batteries we have noticed that water entered the Superdelite's batteries "compartments", and also some water drops were found close to the battery plug in the Delite. How is that water can easily reach these areas? Does it mean...

[SuperDelite] Strange noise from rear brake?

Thanks for your contribution. The bike was serviced, the man told me that the noise was due to wheel misalignment when the bike was initially assembled in the shop which sold the bike. As a result the brake pads are now slightly unevenly worn :-( But the noise has gone! :)
