    Biktrix Stunner vs Magnum Metro

BTW - a better way to describe my decision is that I'm not mechanical so even tho the Magnum has a rep for durability I went for the near-by dealer just in case. If you're a good wrench I'd save the money and get the Amego.

    Biktrix Stunner vs Magnum Metro

My final choice came down to the Magnum or the Amego. Went with the Magnum because there is a local dealer both in case of service and to assemble/check out the bike.

    Posting pictures help needed

FWIW I'm also on a Mac. Just posted a test, this time it gave me a thumbnail option. When I posted multi images I never saw a thumbnail or the option. (https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/last-test-ride-buying-this-weekend.27329/

Interesting, didn't see it when I posted those big ones and I used "Attach Files". Hummm?

What happened to the thumbnail option? I used it once, can't remember how, now.

Last test ride - buying this weekend!

Wow, ca 350? Owner at Best Bikes told me he'd sold a quarter million worth of Magnums and I sorta doubted it but that's probably my lack of knowledge. Never been on a group ride, I'm wondering what it's like, will keep Louisville in mind if it's something I enjoy.

Site wouldn't let me post thumbnails, anyone have a clue how?

Last test ride - buying this weekend!

Came down to Amego Infinite or Magnum Metro, decided on Magnum even tho it's a bit more because there is a lbs Magnum dealer a mile from home and I'm not mechanically minded. Started at Best Electric Bikes USA on Federal, took a lap around Sloan's Lake and dropped into Lakewood Gulch to get to...

    Slight sign of acceptance?

Ride The Rockies is a 7 day ca 450 mi ride with ca 25000 feet of elevation gain, a serious Colorado spandexter event. There's something new this year, though: e-bikes! Here's a link to the event page and also to Best Electric Bikes blog announcing acceptance of e-bikes into the event. Haven't...

Tubeless tires--please share experiences and ask questions here!

My e-bike has Schwalbe Big Bens w/the 3 mm kevlar liner. I'm in Denver, ride mostly paved trails and low-traffic neighborhood streets; are flats going to be a big enough problem for me that I need to consider any of this? Doesn't seem like it.

    Any Garmin Connect users?

Makes sense. When I head on a new route I preview with Google Street View and still ride cautiously until I know the route and its problems. Heatmap gives me another tool, a compilation of local knowledge.

"No fair." In so many ways!

I think we're living in a time of huge change in (urban) transportation patterns, with dockless e-scooters and owned/dockless e-bikes proliferating and both users and regulators struggling to catch up. Anything we can do to ease the transition - i.e., trying to be encouraging vs. judgmental - as...

    Any Garmin Connect users?

I thought Google Maps rely on municipalities, etc. to report updates to their bike paths/bike friendly streets while Garmin and Strava use rider data to tell you where people are riding. Seems to me that users data is more reliable than government/bureaucratic processes.

    Any Garmin Connect users?

Signed up for Strava, checked the route in question in Global Heatmap and saw that 32nd is a heavily biked route, all the way. Exactly what I wanted to know, thx a ton.

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

@Deeps - was astounded at all the bikes casually leaning against buildings - do they even sell bike locks in France? I can only wish it was that way in the US.

    Any Garmin Connect users?

I'm quickly finding that google maps is often out of date.

    Any Garmin Connect users?

In the Denver areas we have 100s of bike/multi-use trails, but most of them are disconnected. I haven't ridden roads in decades and worry about safety, as I'm sure others do. There are several trails I'd like to work out loops for and wonder what roads most bikers use/think safe. It sounds like...

    Altimeters?

Thanks. Not sure why I didn't think of hike/treking. Sometimes I'm still amazed at just how far into our lives technology has penetrated.

    Altimeters?

My Magnum Metro display shows everything I want to track except altitude. Does anyone have a recommendation for a separate altimeter? A watch type would be good or even just something to carry/strap on bike. NOT looking for super expensive models, don't really need multi function.

The joy of running errands on an ebike

Been using my me-bike for errand running for a few years now (haven't driven in several more), can't wait for my e-bike in 2 months. It's not errand running (Neighborhood Nosiness?) but I love slow riding, just sliding, thru the neighborhoods around here especially in summer, I love checking...
