Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Don't you ride in TURBO mode all the time? The battery consumption factor for ECO never exceeds 1% battery per 1 km. Energy recovery has been tried and found impractical for e-bikes as the e-bike + rider are simply too lightweight (it is not a car). Besides, energy recovery would require a very...

Moustache weekend dual suspension dual battery suitable for touring?

Review. This e-bike might be even 3-4 years old by now. How could you assess the battery wear? (If this e-bike were brand new then the specs would be excellent). By the way, judging by the manufactured date, it is not a Smart System e-bike. I would be very careful regarding the frame size...

    Turbo Vado 2 4.0 or 5.0 or 6.0?

It is absolutely secure. I ride gravel and some offroad, never had any issue. The RE perfectly locks into the Specialized Zee II cage. (I use the rubber band to secure the battery plug not the whole thing but it's me). I could even ride multi-kilometre rough cobblestone segments on three races...

    Turbo Vado 2 4.0 or 5.0 or 6.0?

Precisely speaking, it is either both batteries in parallel or the Range Extender first :) I was wondering as there is an extra pair of bosses for a vertically mounted cage, the seat tube, for the diamond frame. It looks it is only a single position for the RE on the ST frame. I only wonder if...

    Turbo Vado 2 4.0 or 5.0 or 6.0?

Good to hear that! Indeed, even the SL 2 like yours in the same colour is available in Poland! I've looked at the picture of your e-bike. It looks the bidon cage fits between the top and bottom tubes so a Range Extender with its cable might fit as well!

Please also check the AMR posts for Ole Bjorn Smisethjell and Radosław Gołębiewski. Our Polish champion rode the same model of Factor XC bike as Victor (but no rear rack). Friends are telling me the Norwegian Ole Bjorn rode a TREK Supercaliber but with a drop bar fitted. Check the break times...

Ever heard of the L1e-B, or S-Pedelec? The modern equivalent of the Turbo Vado 6.0 is the Turbo Vado S IGH.

Watching the peloton - Professional Road Racing thread 2026

Radek is such a biological and mental phenomenon it is even difficult to describe it. He started his serious cycling some 10 years ago. He has no coach and he doesn't do any formal training. He just mounts a gravel or mountain bike and rides for a win. People who know him better say Radek is...

A short thaw now :) I know Creo 2 with its 12x142 mm rear hub would work. Was worried about the Road Boost on Creo 1!

Besides... This is how professional unsupported bike-packing looks like. 1,432 km, 25000 m elevation gain, 3 pitstops. I can see neither a front nor a rear rack. You cannot make your bike heavy with 20% climbs en route especially if you want to win :) Interestingly, most riders of the extreme...
