    Rear Wheel Removal Tip

You know after trying to put those Wanda tires on that were labeled 26”x4” they just did not look 4” wide but maybe 3” including the tubes also. Last night I mentioned those tires to my wife and she said “those are not 4” tires. Now I know I am not seeing things. But if so how was they getting...

    Rear Wheel Removal Tip

Not a big deal really, I just found it curious they do not show them. On another note, I hate getting some things (tires etc) off Amazon because I get the feeling from the reviews the 3rd party companies that actually have store front business may be peddling off returns that had issues on...

    Rear Wheel Removal Tip

Kenda offers one tire for 26”x4” wheel. Why do they not seem to have a tube to fit? I increased the tire pressure from 16- 20psi and bike had better control and less noise yesterday. Doesn’t seem too bad on street now. I just need to clean and lubricate the chain.

Gionnirocket, I think they will do well from what I read here and on the internet concerning Kenda Tires. With a thread count of 30 they are not meant to be as soft and smooth as the scwabbe with a thread count of 60. To me, anything has got to be better than knobby’s on pavement. If I was...

    Rear Wheel Removal Tip

The Kenda Cursor seems to be the best 4” choice for my mostly road use. Wanda Tire I bought that has issues that occurred when trying to install (sidewall buckling) and the dealer stating “I have sold 1000 of these and no one else has ever complained” sent me an email wanting a...

So it is not a sealed hump but allows air on both above and below it, correct? Also, am I to assume this is for tubeless mounting?

Gionirocket, I understand. Good Analogy. I had just read the comparison with Michelin and Kenda for cars and said basically same thing. Pedaluma, I do not understand Crotched tires. Never seen one. What is the deal with that?

Gionirocket, how would you rate Kenda to Schwalbe (not considering the ease of installing) as to ride, issues, etc?

    Rear Wheel Removal Tip

I used soap. I would not do tubeless at this time as I do not have a compressor to provide enough air to force the bead to seal.

Is that by squeezing the sidewalls on the outside or pulling on the sidewall. Sorry, I have not done this before (with any success on the 1 recent one). Update: disregard, I looked tired pliers up and now understand

Are the Kenda tires easy to mount? What are the easiest you have used? Maybe not possible for you to state if you are not using 4” wide Fat Tires. Are Allscape tires any good?

Well told ya I seem to always get then negative end of the stick. They told me” We have sold a 1000 of those tires and no one but you have complained. These came folded over like those gross pastries of the 1960’s (Banana Flip). Not in a tight fold but tied together on the end. The folded end was a wide fold not tight.

Right, 73 year old memory not soo good Gionnirocket. Been 1989-90 since last used. Thanks for the reminder. :) Also, the tires I ordered apparently got damaged by the way they were shipped. The side walls buckled in 4/10 the area. It was a nightmare. I decided to put the original tire and...
