Need Recommendation For A Lift To Work On Our Two Heavy Ebikes

I have the park PRS-30LB and it's a game changer for me. Expensive, yes, but so are the chiropractor visits for my aching back. Worth every penny IMO. Rather than use the high priced base plate, I clamp it to the leg of my workbench. Easily raises & lowers with a cordless drill and removes with...

36V Commuter Battery is Dying - Rebuild or Replace?

Welcome to the forum! If you post more information on the battery type and brand of bike, you may get more specific recommendations. Pictures are also a great help. I've faced this issue with several of my batteries in the past. Rebuilding can be a cheaper option and there are places around the...

    Winter Riding Gloves

I've considered a pair of electric heated gloves, but I don't ride in cold weather as much as I used to. Lately, I've been using these chemical one time use heat packs, slipped inside my riding gloves...

    Anybody tried Clik tire valves?

I wonder if they will get fouled by sealants like Stans, Slime, Flat out, etc. ?

Plastic free lunchboxes for rear panniers?

Maybe you should invest in this solid gold toilet. Much harder to break, unless it's your wallet 😁 It's up for auction at Sotheby's with a starting bid of a mere $10 million. https://www.wtvm.com/video/2025/10/31/solid-gold-toilet-is-up-auction-with-10-million-starting-price/ Just think of...

    Tried Running a 72V Motor on a 52V Battery — Here’s What I Learned

I occasionally run a 52V motor with a 48V battery. The performance is a bit sluggish, but not as severe as your experience. Probably because it's just a 4 volt drop compared to the 20 volts you're dealing with.

    Winter Riding Gloves

I use a small LED helmet light to better see handlebar mounted controls & accessories. It would also work well for reading a wrist watch.

I suppose I should say the same thing. I've been riding, but haven't seen anything interesting to post. Season's winding down here now, so I likely won't have much in the near future. I live vicariously through the pics others post though, so keep em' coming!

Should We Eliminate the Time Change?

It's interesting that there are far more complaints about the time change in the spring when we loose an hour than in the fall when we gain one.

Should We Eliminate the Time Change?

It shouldn't have been a problem since it was sill "Pee M".

    Weird Specialized discovery....

Regardless of what brand you choose, If you don't do your own servicing, having a local dealer nearby is very important. One of the issues I have around here is, the local bike shops keep changing the brands they carry. When I bought mine in 2018, there was a dealer here in town. That LBS has...

Should We Eliminate the Time Change?

Eliminating the time change would certainly make it easier to drive around northern Arizona in the summer. Arizona doesn't recognize DST but the Navajo reservation, which occupies a significant portion of northern Arizona , does observe it. The time changes 5 times when you drive from Phoenix...

Touring - Planning a long journey

I transport my e-bike all over the east coast riding mostly rail & canal trails. I gave up camping years ago and now stay in hotels. Some I frequent regularly now have "no E-bikes or batteries in room" signs posted. I always comply with a posted sign but otherwise use a don't ask don't tell...

Fancy seatpost for more saddle angle adjustment?

An older post, but if you're looking to get a greater range of seat angle adjustment, you might try one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088R7BLB3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 Not very well reviewed, but I've been using them on my bikes and haven't busted one yet. The trick is...
