Geared or not geared That is the question

If you just bought it new, there is 99% chance that it's a geared motor.

Changed my mind about my Gear Shift Sensor today - Disconnected it.

Touching the front brake while shifting is quite natural for anybody who had a motorcycle.

Changed my mind about my Gear Shift Sensor today - Disconnected it.

The gear shift sensor throttle cut on my BBS02 is too short. I now engage slightly my front brake to cut the motor until the gear change is finished. Work very well for me.

    Front fork bent

You can consider to add a brace plate in front of the fork...but 1200W on a front fork is a lot.

Raising handlebars on Vintage Electric Cafe e-bike?

You can lower it by cutting the fork steerer and remove the 2 rings, but it's impossible to extend the fork steerer tube without an additional raiser. You can look for foldable adjustable longer stem like this...but it's ugly ! Replace your handlebar ...

Raising handlebars on Vintage Electric Cafe e-bike?

Did you consider replacing the handlebar instead. A dutch or a classic handlebar will look appropriate on your vintage bike and will move the handles higher and closer to you.

    Accessories that didn’t work out?

I don't think louder is better, it's rude and I do not want to make people jump or do something dangerous for them or others...

    Front hub motor is crook3

If the axle doesn't rest deep inside the fork, both sides, sooner or later the problem will come back.

Throttle does not come back to its original position.

I did it, It's possible and relatively easy to do if you can solder. Open the throttle and switch the wires until you get what you want. Be very careful, because one of the possibilities is full throttle.

    I Like The OLD "Look"!

This one is a very good example of a steam punk E-bike: https://electricbike.com/forum/forum/builds/custom-builds/55778-1925-board-track-racer-ebike-500w-8fun

    I Like The OLD "Look"!

If it's what you prefer, you are lucky ! Just solder a parallel bar under the top one of a regular 26" wheel used bike and a boxy tank is among the easiest to do. Good luck with your search and built.

    I Like The OLD "Look"!

I also like the old look, here are my 2 electric old bikes. One is a Greaser from Michael Blast modified to look like an Excelsior road bike and the second is an Indian board track racer 1912 tribute. https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/custom-built-board-track-racer.41036/...

Braking on hills: scrub off speed vs riding the brakes?

IMO don't stress you wife with that, I know my wife do it all the time, in 3 years only 50% brake pads wear. I do a lot worst with my MTB, I never had a problem and I am not alone...

Front Derailleur to guide chain or not?

IMO If you chain line is not over crooked and your hub doesn't exceed 9 gears, you don't need it.
