    Stupid question. Throttle only

I think all interpretations are good. I built a bike no PAS, full proportional throttle only, my choice. I also own a basic 5 levels PAS bike but I prefer not to use the PAS and use my proportional throttle all the time to get exactly the assistance I want when I (always) pedal. With a...

Throttle or no throttle. That is the question

I think the big manufacturers believe their base clients are not confortable with the idea of riding electric bikes. They do everything they can to hide the battery, motor, controller and components. It works well for them, they can sell smaller motors and smaller batteries bikes at higher...

Cruiser bike conversion - Advice appreciated

In the OP specs, it's written coaster brake. There is only one brake lever for the front drum brake.

Throttle or no throttle. That is the question

It's difficult to synchronize all PAS when riding in group. I always use my Bafang proportional throttle.

Cruiser bike conversion - Advice appreciated

You will loose your coaster brake with a Bafang mid motor or a rear hub motor. Take a look at the Tsdz2 for coaster brake.

APPLE AIRTAGS THE NEW BIKE LOJACK?

It depends where we live/ride, the recovery success should be a lot better in big cities full of bluetooth phones than in remote areas.

Anyone take their Turbo Como Off-road?

Road tyres like the Nimbus are slippery on dirt and small gravel, be careful with the front brake.

Let me doubt, on the Sondors site, under the seat height is 30.9", 32" in front of the seat is much more plausible.

Adding something above to an already too high tube by 4" to 6" for a 30" inseam won't solve the problem o_O

I don't think it's a good idea to promote a wrong bike size. For off road use, it's recommended to choose a bike with a clearance of 2" to 4" over the top tube. With your inseam of 30", your wife understood something you missed. But it's your balls after all.

I cancelled my November order. With all those new numbers available, I have to admit that the Rockstar is too large and heavy for me. Adieu Rockstar thread.

It could be as simple as increasing the max. speed in the LCD ( EBR LX review) . Is it possible that increasing max. speed automatically increase the max. watts and torque available ? It is possible that the bike need a lot more Amp. to reach 35 mph.

Nm is a measure of torque not power. In most case it's obtained with a gear box where rotational speed is sacrificed to increase torque. It's exactly like a normal 12 speeds bicycle. For this reason, a 1200 cc. road motorcycle can have only 126 Nm of torque and a slow Trial electric...

I knew they used a 25A controller instead of M620 30A , it's only a 16% power decrease I can live with, now it's 40 % less power with a 23% weight increase. I was naive, I thought they have solve the chain and cassette stress problem. Quite far from the E bike I bought.
