Great - can you just confirm that you only need the 8mm hex to get the crank arm off. It looked like you needed a special spline tool so I didn't want to go too far !! Also am I correct that to remove its anti-clockwise on the chainring side ??

They are just simple small spade connectors which just unplug under the TCU. There are four spade sets relating to the lights (two for the front and two for the rear). If you just want to disconnect then unplug one of each and just some insulating tape to prevent any shorting. You can test...

Got it sorted in the end. Very small rocker switch off ebay which is mounted on the front light bracket and some black 22 awg wire back to the control panel. All works fine and no permanent mods, so can be "as factory" if needed for warranty.

Just put some Schwalabe Marathon's (700 x 42) on my new Vado SL - much better tyre and a lot more stable. I'm pleased I made the upgrade.

Any views on whether the Vado SL 4.0 EQ will take 700 x 42 Green Guard Marathons - I know it will be very tight on the rear guard but too tight ??

Thanks to this forum I have just bought a new Vado SL 4.0 EQ .... Looking to change the chainring (44T ??) to 40T as prefer better uphill performance as opposed to outright speed. Should I stick with Praxis or any suggestions on other makes ? Thanks
