Take a look at their new Bikom units… better solution than Pi.

Update from Sena… Bikom does not work with any of their helmet’s mesh systems. They operate on different frequencies.

I have read that it does not but you should contact mfg to get confirmation. Let us know what you find out.

Pi is limited to two riders while Bikom allows multiple riders to be in the group communicating with each other. They also advertise greater distance between riders; Pi 1/4 mile and Bikom 1/2 mile. I will be purchasing the Bikon if a few weeks after it warms up a little more in. Minnesota.

Does anybody have any experience with the new Sena Bikom 20 mesh intercom? Multi user mesh network, 0.5 mile distance, 20 gram weight and seems like a big improvement over the Sena Pi and all other products on the market that mount on helmet strap. I currently have a very nice Trek Velocis...

Thanks, what do you think about their weight? How long are your typical rides? Have you experienced any issues with battery life like reported on the Pi?

I will contact Sena and ask about battery life and will let you know if they have improved them.

Looking to purchase some communications equipment that would allow two of us to communicate while riding. Can you recommend any products and manufactures that I should investigate. Ability to communicate with more than two people would be desirable but not absolutely necessary.

Thanks, do you have the chain and derailer or belt version of the bike and how do you like it. Right now I am thinking about getting the metal chain version because it is a simplier design and easier to repair a flat. Also easier to shift for my wife. How do the bike tires perform on gravel...

Again, very good info and insights. When it comes to tires I think my only option would be to get the same size with a more aggressive tread. At $4999 the Gazelle just got moved off my list. 😁. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Looking at Trek Verve+ 3 or 4s for paved and packed gravel trails. Is there a good reason to consider the Gazelle or Cannodale over the Trek? Which of the three would be most reliable and have best dealer network?
