Thule Easy Fold bike rack for E-bikes

A very well-thought out bike rack with several nice features, doesn't rattle or shake, and will hold 2 Ebikes @ 65 lb each max. rated weight. Shown with my Stromer ST2 S and my wife's A2B Alva + on the rack. And it has a cool party trick, you can fold it down very easily to get into the back...

Post pics of your Stromer here

My ST2 S with several aftermarket mods.... * Brooks Cambium seat 19 - that pretty Fizik seat was a torture rack * Mirricycle mirror - so you can see who is going to take you out * BodyFloat Seat Post Suspension - gotta have it * Trek Bontrager "BackRack Lightweight" luggage rack and...

    Hello, From A2B!

The shifting is all manual, and all up to you - doesn't interact with the motor or computer on the A2B. They are working on a fully automatic transmission and I believe its out in their premier bike and not yet in the USA, something new....read about it here...

    Broke Spokes

When I used to race Motocross and run competitive Enduros years ago, one of the things we did to increase wheel spoke strength and prevent failure was to wire the spokes where they cross one another using safety (aircraft) wire. Twist it tight and clip off the excess. This is still required on...

    Am I a hypocrite?

LOL, looks like even some of you E-bikers don't like other E-Bikers.

    Di2 derailleur

I have the Di2 on my ST2 s and its just flat out amazing. I think it will spoil you terribly and you realize you never want to go back to the manual ones. I charged my unit once when the bike was new, it has 200 miles on it since and the battery level hasn't dropped even one bar, so I'm not...

    Hello, From A2B!

I can easily hit 24 mph on an Alva +, you just have to peddle hard in # 3 setting and not be going up a hill. if you are trying to do it throttle-only you can't get there

A little bling for my Stromer STS 2

Yes, I did. Even took the friction bolt loose that holds the forks onto the headset and removed it to inspect. Tightened it up with a rachet as tight as I dared and it improved the slop, but didn't eliminate it entirely. I think I will have to completely drop the fork and inspect to see why...

A little bling for my Stromer STS 2

I've actually got them at 60 psi....will try the settings on the torque/agility/speed, good tip! Sag is set on the Body Float, but that pretty little seat is just killing me. I've done 200 miles on the bike and it has to go, so a Brooks Cambium is on order and that may do the trick. Is there...

A little bling for my Stromer STS 2

My new STS 2 is just plain incredible. A huge, massive upgrade from my A2B Alva +. I have been quite busy customizing it with bits and thought it missing something on the graphics, so I made a drop shadow "ST2 S" on my Cricut Vinyl Cutter at home and put it on each side of the frame. They...

How big a problem is a heavier e bike in reality?

I have a Stromer ST2 s and the weight doesn't bother me at all. I can routinely lift it easily into my BMW X4 as needed. The extra kick from that big battery is worth the additional pounds. I'm 62 years old, own a furniture store and routinely move sofas and case goods of 200 lbs, so that may...

New to the world of E-Bikes

My family rented e-bikes in Marseilles, France last year and we did a coastal tour on them, lots of fun and my first introduction to them. This past July I decided to take the plunge and bought an A2B Alva+ and found I was riding it everywhere, even to the point of ignoring my BMW motorcycle in...

    Solution for bike-to-bike communication?

I learned from motorcycle riding with my wife on the back, that I don't really WANT to have communications helmet-to-helmet. Bought a state-of-the-art system and it works great, the problem is she never shuts up! Constant babbling about this or that - WOMEN DO THAT - I finally would find...
