    I don’t know, I’d say give it some time before you dismiss it. The error didn’t come out of thin air. If you go a month or two with no issues, then perhaps it was a false positive.

    Ohhh, I have a solution! I have a 2022 Vado 4.0, and my display mount broke too. To solve the problem, I used a hot glue gun to secure the display to the mount. The hot glue is very sturdy, and I've had no issues since. The link below should help...

    You're welcome. I think it's a bug. Specialized has been doing a few software and firmware updates lately so it probably slipped through the cracks. It was driving me wild, lol.

    New bike has been nearly flawless, nothing like the old one! Motor is very reliable! I just got a dud bike last time, and Specialized replaced it. Specialized never told me what they found out after I returned the old bike. But, the story has a happy ending!!

    Being able to utilize nationwide LBS for repairs and service is a huge advantage. You can't do that with a Super73 or similar online only bike brand.

    Bike continued to have error codes, and there was some indication the bike was not properly repaired back in October 2021. So, Specialized replaced my bike, at no additional cost, under the warranty program. I now have a brand new Turbo Vado 4.0 2022, same model, same color.

    I expected better quality control from Specialized. There really is no excuse, it's just laziness on their part. Apps can easily be updated remotely. Pandemic is no excuse.
