Update on my noise problem(s): Tightening the motor mount bolts stopped the creaking. Re-lubing the seat post seems to have stopped the 'clicking.' I'm still testing this. Thx.

Good suggestions for rims. Unfortunately the TK 540 disc model is only 32 spokes (can't reuse hub), and the Velocity DYAD seems good but no eyelets. Maybe eyelets are not important. I don't know.

Hi Jeff. Did you update your Nyon with the new software that came out early August? I get reminded every day that the Nyon wants to update itself, but am not sure I want to risk it as there is only one report (that I know) of the update being done and it didn't go well.

Can I reuse the bracket my XM 700+ Super Nova is mounted on to mount an M99 Pure? Does the M99 Pure need to be mounted at handlebar height?

Does the M99 Pure have two beams? One is the running light always shown in the ads (the two 'c' shaped arrays of leds) and a main beam for nighttime use?

Thanks Ravi. The stock light is a Supernova E3 E-Bike V6S Headlight, rated at 6 volts, so when I replace that light with a Supernova M99 Pure+ (rated 12 volts), then I would need to get the software updated. Or can the (software updated) Bosch drive unit be configured to support, one at a time...

Thx Jeff. My derailleur clutch (stock XM 700+) was off too. I did have the chain derail once, after 550 miles. I hope clutch on will stop that from happening again. I wonder why default setting was off.

I understand the Supernova M99 Pure is a 6 volt light and the Supernova M99 Pure+ is similar but runs on 12 volts and is thus brighter. Is this correct? I assume the Bosch software update also changes the headlight voltage in order to run the Pure+?
