The firmware on my new ACE is up to date, and still a blank "- -" LEV field — even when it's actively recording (so clearly connected to the bike). Doesn't record battery level, either, but it successfully records everything else.

Our kids reported bright auroras in Denver (below) and Portland on Nov 11. We lived in the Denver area 20 years and never once saw an aurora. We were in Carlsbad and Solana Beach that evening, both overcast, but the missus says it wasn't visible here in SoCal anyway.
