    heavy duty drive train?

It is too bad that CYC is not developing a final drive option for their system? Anything from the bicycle world will not handle over 2000w reliably. Forget about any type of integrated gear hub at those watts. Only solution, and probably the cheapest, would be to source another front sprocket...

    M620 new quieter gear comparison

After applying John Deere Cornhead grease to my stock M620 it is virtually silent and see no need for it to be quieter. But glad you have gotten to where you want to be also.

No Keys: What Are My Options? SOLVED

There are a finite number of keys that work in those locks. Some ebike shops have a good selection of them you could try. Otherwise take it to a locksmith.

Cracked frame on 2 yr old Rize City

Are you certain that the crack is into the tubing, kind of looks like it is just in the paint to me? It is also cracking lower down towards the weld. There really is no good way to repair aluminum tubing other than welding and then heat treating. I don't think hose clamps would fix it if it is...

    Kindernay goes Kaput

Apparently the German company Kindernay has gone bankrupt. https://www.cyclingabout.com/kindernay-hub-no-longer-they-went-bankrupt/ There was a good amount of interest on here awhile back of those looking to delete their derailleur systems and took the leap of faith to spend $$$$ converting to...

So far, lots of fun with my Frey Beast.

IRDM8130SGS Derailleur CS-LG600-11 is now CS-LG700 - ICSLG70011150 Cassette ICNLG500126Q Chain https://archercomponents.com/ Shifter Shimano recommends their shifter but the Archer system due to it's pretty much infinite adjustability works great plus I already had it.

Bimotal mid drive launch in Berkley

Got a notice today that Bimotal is introducing a mid drive to the public that has some impressive specs. They also are making batteries available that look to be along the same lines in regards to power output/weight that is more than competitive with main market manufacturers. Early days...

So far, lots of fun with my Frey Beast.

I also had issues with cable tension on a similar bike, Z1 Luna. I finally tracked it down to the fact that the cable housing length and the few bends it has to reach the derailleur creates friction that makes it hard to dial in. This especially showed up in the middle of the cassette where...

Complete Details of Zen Mid-drive Motor - 500W (900W peak) power, 120Nm torque

Nice Ravi. While it is easy to see that ZEN is focusing on the commuter/touring market I am a bit jealous of that motor and wish I had one in a 150mm travel aluminum frame MTB....a good competitor to the Bafang M600/500 series motors making their way on to some EU manufacturer bikes? Fully...

    103mph on fat tires

I doubt there were any wires directly connected to the battery as internal battery type bikes use some sort of pin adapter for the connection. More likely when the battery fell out it went in front of the rear tire. At least it didn't ruin his day! The "battery explodes" in the title was click bait.

Any comments on these battery-powered tire pumps?

I have your second option and have used it several times. A bit heavy and carry it in my backpack. No complaints here.

There are a couple of old growth grove holdouts by my place. The one with all the green on it was huge at the base and then branched off into two. Unfortunately the green vine will eventually kill that tree.

Does it exist: 28mph dropbar ebike 625+ W/hr battery + rack & fenders + water bottle mount

While not showing fenders currently my drop bar bike has the capacity for them as well as a rear rack I just don't need those accessories. However it does meet your other criteria with a 780wh battery, two H2O Kingcages and a high gear ratio due to the 2spd internal bb gear that has the...
