Yeah it feels like the rest of the tire, it doesn't feel weak in that area, it's a very small bulge but it still bothers me. I've messaged the online seller but no reply yet. I have 1,250mi. on my ultra motor and it's just as quiet as it was on day one. I do plan to open it up and re-grease it but I'm in no rush as long as it stays quiet. I see no reason this motor couldn't go for 10,000mi. or more

My ideal surface is pavement but on a dedicated trail through the woods. Next would be packed dirt or gravel trails. I like keeping the bike clean and that is hard to do on dirt requiring more chain maintenance

I can vouch for the Schwalbe super moto X tires after riding 1,000mi. on the stock kendas on my Rize RX, I got a set of the super motoX tires and wow, what a huge difference in smoothness, rolling resistance and noise (or lack thereof)..
