    Barrel size matters

Indeed. I use basic math and a timer to charge to approx 80% or whatever level I want/need but being used to hobby grade chargers with a plethora of information and then going to the black box "green light" ebike charger is kind of a bummer. I do like the ability to monitor the charge progress...

    Barrel size matters

Yeah, that's the worry. The handshake isn't the same and even trying a "forced" charge won't work, this after cobbling together the correct connector if I can find one

    Barrel size matters

I'm running into similar issues. I want to by a satiator but can't find the plug that would fit my battery. Someone mentioned they make one called "other small three pin" but I can't find it on their website. My charger plug looks like an XLR but it is not

If I didn't have that stripe I probably never would have seen the bulge

    New tires

I'll do that. I had the bike shop install them but I didn't expect them closely when I picked them up. The bulge could have been there after the install or after one of my rides, I don't know. I didn't hit any curbs or anything. Max pressure is listed at 65 psi and I have them inflated to 60 psi...

    New tires

Yeah it feels like the rest of the tire, it doesn't feel weak in that area, it's a very small bulge but it still bothers me. I've messaged the online seller but no reply yet. I'm going to bring the wheel into the local bike shop and have a pro give me his diagnosis. There's no wobble or anything...

    New tires

I'm guessing with such a small bulge in my tire it's safe to ride? I'd hate to have a front blow out at 30mph though. Most info I can find on speed rating for the super moto x is that it's rated for "high speeds"

    New tires

Just noticed a small bulge in the sidewall of my front tire. What do you guys think? It's maybe bulging 1/16". I only noticed it because of the ripple in the reflective stripe

    New tires

Thanks for posting that.. I agree, just looking at the hurricane and thinking about leaning over in a corner looks like it might be a little scary with that tread pattern. The only problem with your chart is that it doesn't show compatibility on pavement or I guess that's what they consider...

    New tires

How do you know the transition to cornering on asphalt is tricky with the Hurricane? Is the super moto X better for this? And why does the big ben plus tread look exactly like the super moto x tread? Is the allgrounder less competent on pavement or the same as super moto X... I get confused by...

Bafang Ultra Motor (M620) Longevity - How Long Should They Last?

I have 1,250mi. on my ultra motor and it's just as quiet as it was on day one. I do plan to open it up and re-grease it but I'm in no rush as long as it stays quiet. I see no reason this motor couldn't go for 10,000mi. or more

Hello from Everywhere! Friends and Visits?

My ideal surface is pavement but on a dedicated trail through the woods. Next would be packed dirt or gravel trails. I like keeping the bike clean and that is hard to do on dirt requiring more chain maintenance

    New tires

The difference when I switched out my knobbies for the super moto X's was incredible. If I'd known how good it was going to be, I'd have done it MUCH sooner

    Rize RX - 2020vs2021 Model?

I can vouch for the Schwalbe super moto X tires after riding 1,000mi. on the stock kendas on my Rize RX, I got a set of the super motoX tires and wow, what a huge difference in smoothness, rolling resistance and noise (or lack thereof).. I don't ride much off road so I didn't need those knobbies...

    New tires

No idea about durability but I would hope for the cost, the tires would last a long time. I see some schwalbe tires "value" priced but certainly not the super moto X with greenguard. I know some have reported getting 6,000mi. out of a set and that sounds good to me. I'm guessing pavement might...

    New tires

My bike tires are identical front and rear. I did consider rotating the kendas and probably could have got 4,000mi. total out of them by rotating but that constant buzzing on pavement was really annoying and the high rolling resistance was a bummer. Really happy with the schwalbe super moto X...

    New tires

The Kenda knobbies were indeed wearing well, 1,100mi. and the rear looked like it was about half worn out.. That said, I've read the super moto x lasting as long as 6,000mi.. They do have "green guard" whatever that is so hopefully flats won't be an issue. I also use flat out
