De-restricting Bosch gen4 with Nyon display

Oh, now the Bosch anti-tuning department is going to find out your IP address from where you posted it. Soon they will come and disable your partner's motor. Seriously? Do you really think Bosch has a department for tracking their user's rides?

    That is funny

    quirk on two battery bikes?

If you are using only one battery, it does not matter in which place it is. Only for charging the batteries on the bike it makes a difference.

    quirk on two battery bikes?

Does it do the same thing when you plug in the charger without the Nyon on the bike? Do both batteries turn on when you plug it in? And what happens if you turn it on pressing the button on any of the batteries (with the Nyon on the bike)?

Nyon MY21 mapping use problems (+ post April 2022 software updates)

Is your motor a 25km/h or 20Mph version? Here in the US the 20Mph are treated as S-Pedelecs when it comes to the route selection. Probably because they were Performance Speed motors reduced from 28Mph to 20Mph. Not Performance Cruise like the 25km/h versions. Even the Performance Sport doesn't...

    Bosch CX controller, Amp

So you know how I refurbish batteries? Repairing a BMS and replacing all 40 dead cells with 40 brand new cells is not regaining full capacity? I don't know how you are refurbishing batteries, but you may do as you want. I mean, I know what I am doing for many years now. But you can definitely...

So why are there even S-Pedelecs? That is the most funniest thing I ever heard. I am out of here (asking myself why I even posted here, what I am doing). I had my first ebike with the Bosch over 11 years ago and added a tuning right away (made my own chips). Soon after I got my first S-Pedelec...

I don't get it why people think that Turbo is killing the batteries. If that would be the case, why would Bosch even offer the Turbo mode? To replace batteries all the time under warranty? That doesn't make sense to me. Refurbished is a little bit different from home-made. Refurbished means...

    Bosch CX controller, Amp

Refurbished a while ago with good cells Nope, the batteries are totally fine with that. Especially in dual battery mode. Only when I use one in single mode and squeeze out the electrons pretty hard, it gives me the 1-3-5 LED blink, when I try to charge it right away. It just needs a little...

Yes, Turbo with tuning. But as I said, I don't care how much Watts the motor does. As long as I have plenty of batteries with me, I just drain them as quick as possible 😁 Only on my camping trips I save some juice, but still don't care how much the motor does as long as it takes me where I want...

    Bosch CX controller, Amp

Yes, it is usually between 150W and 180W average on that ride, with an average cadence of 85 or higher as I don't want to wear myself out before the workout at the gym.

@fooferdoggie yes, more than enough to max out the motor assistance.

    Bosch CX controller, Amp

I can easily drain a 500Wh battery in 40 minutes, going full speed in headwind in Turbo. That would be 750Wh in one hour which equals a power of 750W continuously over one hour (or 750W in 2/3 of an hour (40 minutes) equals 500Wh). So does that mean the motor does 750W while riding on maximum...

And when the battery is empty, it puts out 0 Watts. I mean, seriously, who cares? Just ride and don't waste your time with any stupid discussions on FB.

Remaining charge indication on original Kiox display?

No, just wanted to know if the motor or Kiox rolls over at 10 Gigameters. But it just stops counting at 4 Gm which equals 4,000,000 km

@FS27 Just create your own screen layout. Like this for example

    Bosch Nyon system abandoned?

I told Bosch the last time 5 years ago or so about this miles/kilometers thing. I just ignore it. However, I use my Nyon since 2014 and they fixed a lot of bugs in the first years. But this one seems to be pretty hard to fix 🤭 All the nice features including the big screen weigh more than this...

New Bosch Performance Line CX Gen2 (BDU 280P CX) 75Nm

@TrevorB It is not only a matter of the bolt pattern. Also the chain stays. If they are too low, they are in the way of the chain.
