Yes, I bought the bike from this shop. They were not on my side from the beginning, suggesting that it was my fault for leaving it outside. I have had problems with this shop since the day I bought the bike, and even more problems now with this experience. I fully regret buying the bike from them.

Finally got the bike back from the shop a few days ago. Disappointingly, Trek only agreed to cover 20% of the part cost, but I just paid the bill so I can be done with it. I'm currently working on a way to protect it from water damage, since it's still rainy season here.

Well if confirmation is what you need, I'm here to give my endorsement. I've had a blast on mine, and I'm very happy I decided to get it. Trek definitely seems to be leaning heavily into the TQ platform too, so I expect that we'll be well supported for quite a while.

They actually responded to my email shortly after I posted that comment, haha. It was not the response I was hoping for but my suggestions were passed along regardless.

Let us know if TQ responds. I sent them a few questions about my FX+ 7S a few weeks ago and haven't received anything back. I don't mind the long-press for off, as I spend a lot of time in the higher assist modes so the long-press is faster. However I do understand the other side of it.
