Having choices is great, though again the comparison isn't exact: Vado 3.0 IGH has the CITY Enviolo (310%, 55Nm) and 50Nm Brose motor while the Samurai base has the HEAVY DUTY Enviolo (380%, 100Nm) and 85Nm Bosch motor.

You're thinking the Samurai (base version), which is indeed more value for money than the Vado, though its Enviolo is the non-automatic version.

No need to guess: it’s $5500. Also, the Vado is mid drive while the Shakti is hub drive; so apples to oranges. Both have their place in the market.
