If your bike is equipped with a throttle and it surpasses 20mph it is illegal based on federal law NOW. Why are you mad at Mr. Pizzi for pushing for a less lenient California law that at least makes a provision for speed pedelecs. The CA law does allow for a throttle bike, just not passed 20 mph.

I'm personally not in favor of a throttle. I feel an ebike should be mostly a bike. Just like they roll in Europe. There is a site called Electricridereview which is more geared towards the electric "moped" that many seem to favor. Perhaps Court should set up a community on that site as well...

It seems like the new trend on mountain bikes is to go with either a 2x9 or 1x10. With an ebike 27 gears my not be necessary.

Thanks PowerMe, I should have seen that for myself. Interesting that I've looked at this light 4 times on Amazon since yesterday. The price of it has ranged from $2 yesterday to $9 this morning to $18 now. Very strange!! I should have snagged it for the $2 I saw it for yesterday!!!!!

Thanks for the information! I wonder though if your bike is out if true or something to cause the "wobble". I generally ride my Carbon at about 24 to 26 mph, but it feels great up to 30+ on downhills with strong pedalling.
