Glad to hear that the motor power cut off is`n a big deal. The battery needs a few charge/discharge cycles to show its potential. Keep us posted about Wallke support response, I'm interested to learn what they think the problem is or why they made it that way.

Have you tried to reach out to Wallke support perhaps there is a simple explanation for said condition and we`ll all learn something new.

Have you double checked all the electrical connections? Sometimes the Monday shift at the factory still has a weekend hang-over and is half-way daydreaming about what happened on Saturday....

Unfortunately you are stuck with it since that goop is there to make it waterproof, yes I have tried once to remove that stuff to fix my issue, and let me tell you it is a long and pain staking job and not worth your time, next time I`ll just get a new controller with better specs and be done...

On mine short pressing the power button turns the screen off, pressing it again wakes up the screen, there is a setting to make that happen automatically after 3 or 5 minutes. Here's a picture of said setting.
