Push Bike Backwards from shed, chain falls off

You can always try to find a metal washer larger than the outermost diameter of the idler roller by say 1/4"and secure it to the outside of the roller creating collar that will keep the chain in place. Yes I do realize that this is not an ideal or the best solution however it should fix the...

    replace rear hub motor

Glad to hear that all is well. Ya after sale conversations were kind of weird with them, almost to a point that they do not to understand my English. Few times when seeing others ridding fold-able bikes had wished for one myself however not having enough time to ride one and since my wife has...

    replace rear hub motor

Hi @Denis Shelston long time, how have you been? You probably need the nylon gears to be replaced My Teo blew the controller and now I got a KT controller mounted on the seat post since I refused to pay what Benoit was asking for the replacement.

Question about brakes cutting power to motor

Glad to hear that the motor power cut off is`n a big deal. The battery needs a few charge/discharge cycles to show its potential. Keep us posted about Wallke support response, I'm interested to learn what they think the problem is or why they made it that way.

Question about brakes cutting power to motor

Have you double checked all the electrical connections? Sometimes the Monday shift at the factory still has a weekend hang-over and is half-way daydreaming about what happened on Saturday....

    Volt Meter/ sorry 48 volt x 14AH battery

    Ebike voltage issues

@Deano2609 I`m sorry for doubting your ability to use a multi meter, and now i am the amateur... ""in full power 2 seconds of pedling and wattage goes straight up to well over 1200w"" this suggest to me that the settings in the display unit may not be adjustable or not adjusted correctly...

    Ebike voltage issues

Can you explain : ""keeps cutting out in pas and throttle when I put pressure on peddles"", are you sure you did not criss-cross these 2 connections and the output of the controller matches the input of the components, ie : positive negative sense wire match? Do you have a decent multi-meter...

    Controller shunt mod

Unfortunately you are stuck with it since that goop is there to make it waterproof, yes I have tried once to remove that stuff to fix my issue, and let me tell you it is a long and pain staking job and not worth your time, next time I`ll just get a new controller with better specs and be done...

    Ebike voltage issues

@Deano2609 Welcome to the forum hope you`ll enjoy your stay. Which controller do you have, or post a picture of the label. As the capacity of your battery is not up to par to be your daily source of power you can try to make some changes within your display unit to tweak the parameters to...

    Dash cams for bikes

On mine short pressing the power button turns the screen off, pressing it again wakes up the screen, there is a setting to make that happen automatically after 3 or 5 minutes. Here's a picture of said setting.

    Dash cams for bikes

@hoboin Glad to hear you're enjoying your new toy. Have a look at the settings menu I'm pretty sure that there is a setting got the display to make it go to sleep if you're not using it. To wake up the power bank you need to install a switch on the cable that plugs into it to make it think...
