Adjusted the same as the Power Comp, which I had worked with the LBS on. BTW..this is a 155.

Got a new seat for Vader. Power Pro with Mirror. Most comfortable so far. Tried a regular Power and Power mimic prior to this. Sticking with this one.

Revive a depleted battery - Vado 5.0 SL

maybe the battery is still under warranty in some way? Try taking it to a Specialized dealer?

    Turbo Vado SL Front light

    I did this on a Vado SL 5.0 https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/2022-vado-4-0-sl-cables-interfering-with-headlight-so-i-flipped-it.48060/post-533161

I have a leadoutgear mini burrito bag. Fits my phone, wallet, and a multi tool and a snack. It straps on the handlebars. There is a strap for the stem area too, but I don't use that part.

Oops ... rear mech/hanger crash damage Vado SL 5

Definitely the hanger. You can try a hanger alignment tool. If you were closer, I have one :) If the hanger is too far bent, then trying to align it will cause it to break. In which case you will need to buy a new hanger. They are pretty cheap.

So in order to try and work on my butt problem, I put in a stiffer spring in my Kinekt seatpost. Definitely less bouncy. Will have to try it on a real ride. I also changed out my WTB Rocket chromoly 150 for the Specialized Bridge 150. So here is the interesting thing. The Bridge Sport on...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

I'm riding a WTB Rocket Chromoly wide (150mm). It's served me well on a bunch of bikes, but my again..I don't usually ride more than 2 hours or so. Maybe I just need to get used to riding longer.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Ok. First time riding over 30ish miles today(on any bike). Did a little over 50 miles, with 1800 ft elev gain. 4 hours. Really proud of getting this distance. It was 60 degrees F when I left. 90 when I returned. So the heat was getting to me. Things I noticed. One water bottle...

Yeah.. I rode once with them, and realized I had them a little too vertical. Angled them a little more forward for now, and going for a ride later today.

Got my Innerbarends influenced by Stefan. Moved over my Ergons. Decided to switch the bell over to the other side to make things a little closer together. Also swapped the power control on the left side so it is inside the brakes

Anyone have a Specialized Turbo Vado SL right side handlebar grip you want to get rid of? I broke of mine when I was putting on my innerbarends. I really like the specialized grips.

Gravel or single track? Have tried some gravel and it seemed fine. Not as plush as my full suspension mtb, but seemed ok. Granted....I was only on gravel for 1/4 of the ride. The Innerbarends intrigue me. Someone else try them, post a pic and I'll think about it :) I'd probably use...

FYI. I experimented some more on a long ride without a lot of hills. There was a 20-25mph wind the whole way, so I used Sport mode (65%) the entire time. I rode 31 miles, 702 ft ascent, and used up about 78% of the battery. This was on a paved bike path. I was a little worried I would run...

I have some Ergon grips, but have been using the Specialized grips. I do find there are less hand positions on the Ergon, because the flat part is wider. Once, I tried Ergon grips on my MTB. Didn't work well because on the downhill I didn't feel like I could grip the handlebars as firmly...

2022 Vado 4.0 SL cables interfering with headlight, so I flipped it.

If you break your mount, and/or want to lower the light some more. I used a combo of these two aluminum pieces from Amazon. I changed out the thumbscrew for a regular hex screw, but that isn't shown in the pic: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CWR1ZML https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KXW41G3

I didn't really like using microtune on my recent rides. I was using either 35 eco or 60 sport most of the time. Then this past weekend I was riding my SL 5.0 with my son, who was on my old Cannondale Quick Carbon 2. He's 20 years old. I found Microtune really helped keeping my pace...

Can you feel the difference between 40/50 and 65/75? Also wondering if there is a big difference between 40/40, 65/65 and what you had? I'm playing around with my numbers and thinking maybe 30/55 and 60/85

Smart Control or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying (and Love My Vado)

I was thinking about it when I was riding today (you have a lot of time to think while riding). What I would really like is some way of having a constant total output power, no matter how much work I am doing.... Set it for total output power of 200w. I set it for 250w. I ride between...
