@TrevorB It is not only a matter of the bolt pattern. Also the chain stays. If they are too low, they are in the way of the chain.

If the drive unit is <MY2017, it will not work. Only on drive units MY2017 and later. And the batteries of course need a software version from 2017 or later. What are the first 3 digits of your drive unit serial number? This will tell you the date when manufactured.

That is awesome, but Bosch is really good when it comes to warranty even after 2 years. If the motor was too old, there is a service kit that includes the right side motor cover with the main bearings and gears that usually go bad in wet conditions. It is only just over $100. I just fixed two...
