    Product Improvement:- Feedback to Bosch.

I'm sorry to hear about the bad experience. Whether or not you wish to continue using it, keep in mind your shop can get a warranty replacement phone mount for you. A few things to keep in mind... the maximum width for phone w/ case is 78.1 mm. The mount may be able to expand beyond this, but...

    Product Improvement:- Feedback to Bosch.

No plans to change the number of assistance levels offered. If I had to speculate, I'd say we are more likely to see more options for customizable modes in the future, but I've not heard of plans for either (more modes, or more adjustable modes.) It does seem that more OEMs are electing to...

    Product Improvement:- Feedback to Bosch.

This would be great! I'll pass it along. I was looking into this, but my contact got tied up with some other stuff. I'll send a reminder today to see if we have any new info.

When the hell are Bosch’s 625wh batteries going to be available?

I just checked on QBP, it looks like the ETA is still July 2021.

    EMTB-Lite?

Great question, but unfortunately no. The customizable modes on Nyon allow you to adjust the power/assistance curve, but the eMTB, eMTB-Lite, and other variable modes allow for what is essentially automatically variable power/assistance curves within set parameters.

    SPH / COBI question

You are correct- the watts shown are rider power only. This appears to be a typo of some sort. I'll report it. Thank you for bringing it to our attention!

    SPH / COBI question

Can you provide a link to where you found this, please? I will take a look. "Rider Power" should always be expressed in Watts, and is a calculation based on torque, cadence, and maybe few other things from what I understand (I am not a software/hardware engineer.) The description you quoted in...

    EMTB-Lite?

That's awesome! Glad he was able to find it, and great feedback on the ride experience.

Trek Allant+ 7S: Slight Vibration Emitting from Bosch Performance Speed motor

It seems like (2) different topics are being discussed here, so I'll attempt to provide some clarity. I believe the original post was regarding pedaling vibration under load, which can be caused by chain vibration (assuming all else is well on the bike.) The published article(s) refers to the...

    Nyon MY21 - Initial Thoughts

Thanks for sharing this! I'll pass it along to the team. They are still working on the navigation topic that was brought up for NYC. It's a bit of a process as it involves interfacing with the company that provides the maps, etc. Based on some of the info we've looked at for NYC, and other...

    EMTB-Lite?

Yes! As some of you may aleady know, eMTB-Lite is essentially a lesser-supportive version of eMTB Mode, and replaces Tour instead of Sport. Same concept though- variable support based on rider input. In terms of what eBikes have it... it will vary. I believe this is only on Trek currently...

Replacement R&M Bosch power socket rubber cap?

Hello! Unfortunately, the R&M cap appears to have proprietary dimensions (see image of Bosch cap below). I do not think it will fit, so your best bet may be a proactive dealer getting warranty replacement caps from R&M.

    2020 Allant + 8S Battery Issues

Hello! I read through your previous posts and did not see that you've checked for this, so please forgive me if I missed it- have you checked the setting in the Cobi app (while phone is connected to Hub) to make sure it is still set to charge the phone? Sometimes this "button" can get...

    2020 Allant 8S - replace Smartphonehub with Nyon 21?

I'm sorry to hear you are having an ongoing issue. If you are willing, I'd like to learn more about what is going on as frequent disconnects are usually not related to displays. In other words, it would be good to make sure we are fixing the right thing on your eBike. Additionally, whatever the...

Performance Line CX EU speed limit 25kph change

The Bosch Diagnostic Tool and Bosch Dealer Portal logins are all a global platform, so it will not make a difference where you login from, virtual or otherwise. As was mentioned above, the DU will automatically download the correct software. Even if you managed to download software intended for...

What's the correct wheel circumference for 29" MTB wheels on the Kiox?

Unfortunately, there is not a universal value for any general tire size. The actual circumference will vary based on width, make, and model of tire, as different tires manufactures measure and manufacture different. Some measure width at the casing, others at the tread. Some over estimate, some...

got a notice to take my bike in for service but I think it was just because I forgot the wheel magnet.

You are correct, the service interval is just about routine maintenance. In reality, it's more of a reminder to get the non-E components of your eBike serviced, rather than the eBike system itself. It is a good idea to get a software update 1-2 times per year.

    Purion Issue on Pegasus

What contacts did you clean on the Purion? It is a hardwired display, so I'm thinking maybe you are talking about the CR2016 battery contacts inside the Purion? In any case, your issue sounds like it may be related to the ON/OFF button on your display. I recommend having a Certified Bosch...

got a notice to take my bike in for service but I think it was just because I forgot the wheel magnet.

Service interval is completely unrelated to error codes, including the 503 for a wheel magnet issue. I suppose it's possible the OEM set the interval at the factory, but I've never heard of that happneing in my 3.5 years with Bosch. Most likely explanation is that someone set it and forgot...

got a notice to take my bike in for service but I think it was just because I forgot the wheel magnet.

All Bosch-equipped eBikes should have the ability to have a service interval programmed. This is never done by the OEM. When your eBike is new, and/or in for service, the technician at your shop should have a conversation with you about how you ride, etc., and set an appropriate service...
